*Amelia*

I walked down the stairs towards the dining room and I stopped myself. I just shared a deep secret. What if she tells someone? I will be in such trouble, so could Jacob. Oh, God, give me strength.

The doors were open for me and all attention was on me. Bother Michael, Jacob and my father stood up for. I quickly looked at Jacob and smiled at him. Then Michael walked over towards me slowly. My, he has changed, so much.

"Hello, Amelia." I bowed to him and he brought my face back up to him. "Amelia, you shouldn't bow to a friend."
"One who is royalty, it is a woman's right to do so."
"Never between us." I smiled at him the looked back at Jacob. He had a concern look on his face, is he jealous?

"Father. Lady Isabelle, what a pleasure to see you again."
"My goodness, Amelia, you have grown to be a very beautiful princess. It has been many ages."
"Yes, it certainly have."

I sat next Michael and across from Jacob. This was very awkward to sit across from my future lover and next to someone I use to love. We ate in silence. We had small talk but nothing major about the next line for the throne. Not even marriage.

"So, Jonathan, there has be a rumor circling the kingdoms that Amelia is still without a husband." I choked on my wine and touched my chest. Jacob looked at me and smirked like he was about to say something. I shook my head no and continue eating.
"Yes, she is, Lady Isabelle. But unfortunately, she had made an offer to find her love in one week."
"Oh, how complicated. Amelia, it should take more than a week to find your true mate."

"I disagree, ma'am." Jacob said quietly.
"Pardon?" She asked.
"Well, if I may, Madame, but love has many forms. Like love at first sight, the speed of your heat when you lay eyes on her, the feel in legs just wanting to go to her but you can't, the way she smiles, her eyes, her hair. Everything she does just changes you inside and out."

The room became silent. Michael was silent the whole time then decided to say something.
"Do tell, Sir Jacob, have you had that feeling about anyone?" Jacob didn't say anything and just looked at me.
"Yes, I once did."
"Those feels you describe were ways I felt about Amelia when we were children. She was beyond many words, as if God gave her to me."

I looked at Michael and remember our times as children. I gave him a smile and then...
"Amelia, darling, do you still plan to find this love in one week?" Isabelle asked curiously. I looked at both her, my father, Michael and Jacob.
"Um, yes. Yes, in fact, I do. I believe he could very near by. Very close."
"Oh, my dear, he could be in this room right now."

I looked at Jacob then Michael. Oh God help me, please.
