"Eren if I die, promise you won't be sad, and that you want cry" you looked up into a pair of sea green eyes.
You pressed your head into the boy's chest and closed your eyes. It was two days until everyone would set out on a transportation mission. Levi knew very well that you and eren were together, that's pretty much why he put you in a group just behind where eren was positioned.
"I won't cry, as long as you promise the same" eren looked down at you
You nodded before drifting off to sleep. The night seemed colder than usual knowing that one of you may die...

Everything seemed to be going okay cliche, only one abnormal in the past few hours. You and Armin were the only ones in the group with one extra horse. The sun was just about to fade behind the horizon, that meant you would have to set camp soon. You watched and waited for a smoke signal. A purple one was set of in front of you, you looked over to Armin who was pointing his smoke gun in the air and shot it. You stopped your horse after Armin did. It took about ten minutes to set up a sleeping area but it was easy you were going to take first watch and later you would switch with Armin.

The formation had been destroyed, no one was where they were meant to be, two others had managed to get back to join you and Armin. Closing in behind you were two abnormals but one was heading in the opposite direction, you turned your head to see how close they were, your horse Began kicking around flinging you off against a rock.

~Eren's POV~(+ another time skip :D)

Eren got back to Levi's squad but was quickly stopped after. Someone on horse back and stopped the group from moving. The man was holding a body.
"Eren you might like to see this" Levi called
Eren got off his horse and walked over to Levi, he looked down at the body. He couldn't believe his eyes, (Y/N) was almost dead in the arms of this man. The man layer her down on the floor and Eren fell to his knees.
"E-Eren" she rasped
Eren felt his eyes fill with tears
"You promised you wouldn't cry" she put her hand on his leg
"I'm sorry" Eren Eren whispered
"Kiss it all better, I'm not ready to go" she looked into his eyes
Eren held her hand, her hands were freezing. He leaned in and kissed her forehead
"Every thing will be alright"
(Y/N) breathing thinned out before stopping. Levi looked down on the two with sorrow in his eyes. Eren looked around there were a few Titans off in the distance. Rage begun filling his eyes.
"I'll avenge my lover tonight" he whispered "Just hold on..."
