"ZOË!" Someone screamed from the room next to mine. My annoying 14 year old sister stomped into my room, banging open the door.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"My makeup! It's all wet! RUINED! I can't go anywhere looking like THIS!" Selena screamed, pointing to her makeup less face.

Oops. I was hoping she wouldn't  notice.

"You see, I, um..." Oh, where was Charlie when you needed him?

"And my magazines?!" Selena taps her foot impatiently, obviously impatient for my excuse.

"I-It was an accident. You know, me collecting the water, accidentally putting too much pressure on it, big BOOM, water everywhere?" I mime an explosion.

"And I'm Zeus," my sister scoffs, flipping her long blond hair over her shoulder.

"Actually, you aren't Zeus, your his niece. His niece I'm sure he is very ashamed of right now." I tell her.

"And why is that?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Because your little sister got the better of you again."

I throw the ball of water I was hiding behind my back into her face, running out of the room as fast as I could. Unfortunately, my dad was on the other side, reaching out to grab the door handle to come in.

"Uh, hi, dad!" I squeak, dashing around him and outside, leaving him to deal with my very angry, very wet sister.

"ZOË!!!!!" I hear Selena scream at me.

"Toodles! Hope you have a bathing suit underneath!" I call back. I would get a stern talking to, I'm sure, but it was worth it!

"What are you smirking about?" My nerdy
little brother, Charles, asks me, coming out from his room.

"You'll find out at dinner," I promise him, checking over my shoulder to see if Selena was following me.

"Did you splash her again?" he guessed.

"Do you really think I'd do that again?" I ask him, putting my hands on my hips.

"Yeah."

"Ugh, fine, I did," I sigh. "But I had good reason! She was gonna kill me!" I defended.

Charlie just laughed and shook his head. I swear, sometimes that kid acted 20,not 8
