I got onto the carousel and sat on the little Cinderella type carriage thing. I sat there alone and sighed as the final people entered. Someone was coming over with their coat hood hiding there face. She sat next to me and as the ride began she pulled down her hood. It was Melanie!
"Hey Vallari," she whispered.
"Hey Melanie, I can't believe you're here! I was so lonely..." I admitted. She smiled at me and gave my a sympathetic hug. As we spin round and round we began talking about how life was.
"Why are you here anyway?" I finally asked.
"I'm trying to find HIM,"
"Who's him?"
"My boyfriend," she said turning around, "being in a relationship is like going round and round on a carousel, but once you get on... You can never ever get off,"
I looked at her with confusion. Another one of Mels boyfriends... As we got off Melanie ran over to a young boy and kissed him on the cheek. I watched from were I was standing and they made it look so easy to be in a relationship. This 'boyfriend' of hers looked around and I hid behind a bin. Then, he hit Melanie in the face which made her unconscious and then stuff her in a black bag. Suddenly, four other men came and they went off. I followed them to where they were going and I saw him tie Melanie up and put duck tape over her mouth. He pulled a knife from his shoe and grinned. I ran as fast as I can and tackled him to the ground. I punched him in the face and dos the best I could. I threw Mel the knife and she cut herself free.
"Run! I yelled, now!"
She legged it and I was left fighting this guy... Let's just say it didn't end well.

2 days later...

I was in hospital when Melanie came to visit me.
"Hey,"
"Thanks a lot Val,"
"No problem, it was the least I could do,"
She gave me a hug and then handed me flowers.
"This is why we're friends... True friends,"
