The men in white lab coats named her Cheri.
They told her that she was created to live in the real world. What the "real world" was she had no clue.
I guess I am going to find out soon.
The men took Cheri out of the room she woke up in lead her into another one. It was bigger than the first one and had more objects in it like scientific equipment. But the main difference was that there was someone standing in the room. This person looked completely different than the men in white lab coats Cheri had been seeing so far. The human was a female like herself (She found out that she already knew basic knowledge, like people's genders), and that she had a smile on her face. Completely different from the blank faces of the scientists.
"Cheri."
Cheri turned to the voice who called her name. It was the same man who she assumed was the leading scientist of her "birth" (if one could call being created in a lab birth).
"Yes sir?" She didn't know why she said sir but calling him that felt like the most proper thing to do.
Hearing the word of respect he gave her a cold smile liking the fact that he had authority over her.
He on went to say, "Cheri, as you already know, you were created to go out into the world and try to assimilate yourself into the human culture. But seeing as you were just born you are too young and naive to get through life on your own. So my colleagues and I decided to assign a caretaker for you."
The scientist nodded to the woman who then started talk rapidly, "Hello Cheri!! My name is Anna I'm so excited to meet you! We are going to have some much fun!!"
Anna was a huge contrast to what Cheri had been used to in her short life so far, she was so...energetic. Not that that was a bad thing but, she just wasn't used to people being so happy around her. Anna seemed nice enough so Cheri just hesitantly smiled back.
When Anna saw Cheri smile she went ecstatic "Oh you are so cute!! This is going to be so great!!!"
The scientist coughed a little to get all the pairs of eyes back to him. He was annoyed that no one was paying attention to him. "Enough with the greetings, you two will get to know each other at some other time. Right now Anna you must take Cheri to her new home so that she can get settled and be ready to go to her first day of school tomorrow."
School? Tomorrow?
Cheri knew what school was but she didn't think that she would have to go so soon.
"Oh yes, school. Come on Cheri we must go and prepare for the first day of school tomorrow!! Bye everyone!!!" Anna then practically dragged Cheri out of the building and into the parking lot. Anna lead Cheri to the only car parked in the parking lot. "There's my car. Let's get out of here!" She opened the passenger door gave Cheri a light push and said a quick "get in", then she rushed to the driver's side and got into the car.
During the whole trip Anna was rambling about things that she thought Cheri should know, but Cheri was not listening one bit. She was in her own thoughts and there was one thing that she could not get out of her mind.
School? Am I even ready for school?
But her opinion did not matter because ready or not, she had to go anyway.
To be continued...

I wonder if Cheri can handle high school. DUN DUN DUN!!! Lol. We'll see what happens. And thanks to you three who commented. I hope the way I wrote it this time wasn't too spaced out.
Bye!
