Ch. 1 - Welcome

Addie was just settling into town and hanging with Bonnie and going over some spells and teaching her some new techniques. Addie had her own apartment feeling a bit odd that she would room with her as she was four years older than her. Bonnie said it could just be a sister bonding, but that didn't help either because Addie grew up by herself.

Her parents died when she was ten and she was in and out of foster homes her whole life until she graduated high school and moved to Maryland to start her career in becoming a teacher her major being history. So now she was trying to get a new job as a history teacher at the high school but all the positions were filled so she was stuck working at home still filling out more resumes.

She loved the fact that she was closer to family. But Bonnie did tell her that their was a lot of supernatural here in this town. She wasn't to excited about that but Bonnie was still a new witch and she still has so much to learn so that was one of the reasons she also moved here. But another reason that didn't make sense was that fact that she was drawn to this place. Like she had a purpose and it's here where she can find out why.

Addie sat up and leaned against the couch that Bonnie was laying on. Bonnie said that Caroline was coming over any minute to pick her up for senior prank night. "And Caroline is a vampire, along with Damon and Stefan. But Stefan is out of town... right?" Bonnie sighed and laid her head on her hand.

"Yeah." They sat in silence as Addie continued to read through the grimoires. "Do you want to come with me to the prank thing tonight. I need someone to distract me from Caroline's attempt to make us... normal." Addie laughed and closed the book before standing up and helping her up from the couch.

"Sure why not. I could give you guys tips." The doorbell rang and the two girls made their way to the door to see Caroline with a huge grin on her face.

"Come on we're gonna be late." She grabbed Bonnie's hand and started to drag her to the car while Addie laughed and followed them. Caroline stopped and let Bonnie go and turned to Addie. "You must be Bonnie's cousin, Addie. I'm Caroline." She said giving Addie a hand shake.

They arrive at the school and head to one of the classrooms to set up mouse traps that Caroline brought. She set one on the floor and then grabbed another one. "So why are we doing this again." Bonnie asked, Addie only laughed and set another one down.

Caroline sighed, "Because we're making memories." Addie turned and laughed at Bonnie as she set a trap.

"Hey Addie what was one of the pranks you did?" she looked at Tyler and back to the mouse trap and began to think before she laughed thinking about old memories.

"Well one of my friends had a farm so we borrowed one of their cows and put it in the principal's office." She was laughing hysterically now but the rest were just staring at her. "Okay. One prank I did was replace the weights in the weight room with donuts... one we got a whole bunch of helium tanks and tied balloons to the P.E equipment, and one of my own personal favorite was put firecrackers under all the teachers seat and on the first day of school when they sat down they went off." The rest laughed and Tyler had an evil look on his face. Addie set another trap down when the door opened and someone stepped on a trap, setting all of them off. Everyone in the room jumped, while Addie raised her hands in the air so her fingers wouldn't get caught.

"Ohh! Oh, come on! Seriously?! Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?!" Addie laughed while the rest just sighed.

"Forgot about senior prank night, huh?"

"Clearly." Matt looked around and stared at Addie before waving. "Hi I'm Matt. Guessing your Bonnie's cousin."

Smiling Addie waved back. "Addie."
