Chapter 4

Dear diary

It was the last week of our school year so there was a dance held at our school. When I was sitting alone in a corner, Eric came to me and I think he was going to ask me to the dance, suddenly Tina appeared from nowhere and walked right in between our conversation.

I just scowled at her while she twirled her hair and talked to Erik again hypnotizing him to go to the dance with her

She said: umm Erik r u going to the dance with anyone?
He said no but I've decided to go with Jannet

I took about a whole minute to take all of it in and have smiled

Will you go with me? He said

I just nodded

I felt really happy cause like all my ten years were without a friend , and on the last day of my school life I got a friend, but I was also sad cause it was the last day and maybe we will never meet eachother again . For me finally Getting a friend was like winning a game show after trying for ten years.
