Chapter 7

Warning: it sucks

One week later

Saturday-
"CALLIE, CALLIE, CALLIE!" I jumped on her bed, waking her up in the progress.

"What the hell. Why are you so happy and so dressed up?! It's barely 11 in the freaking morning." She groaned and pushed me off the bed. I landed with a thud on the floor. I was simply wearing black skinnies with the cuts on the knees from Topshop, a gray v-neck with my racer back black bralette showing, black booties, and my Tiffany necklace.

"How is this dressed up? And get up! Let's do something today!" I got myself off the floor and shook her.

"Who even let you in?" She got up on her elbows and squinted at me.

"Your mom. Now get ready." At this point of my life, I'm actually happy. For about three days, I was sad that I lost Lexie and Annie, but I realized something. Towards the end, we were pretty toxic for each other. Always fighting over the dumbest things.

Me and Grayson are closer than ever, I'm also trying to get Maya and him together. Basically this week consisted of him and her flirting NONSTOP. I almost threw up.

I went downstairs to wait for Callie as she got in the shower and did all her things. I casually sat on the couch and saw her brother all dressed coming downstairs from his room.

"Rare sight of Miss Rowan Butera in the house!" Her brother, Alex said. I haven't been to Callie's in two weeks and I usually go every weekend.

"Aw, Alex I've missed youuuu!" I got up from seat and ran up to hug him. He was 14 but 5'10 and I'm only 5'2 so yeah he's way taller than me. "Where are you going looking all nice?" He was always like a little brother to me. I could tease him all I wanted. We were practically family.

"Just going with some of my friends." He shrugged but I saw his cheeks blush.

"There's a girl going that you like, huh? Well, make a move!!" I pinched his cheek and he swatted my hand away. He walked to the kitchen and I say back down in the couch.

Ethan Dolan: Hey..

I've talked to Ethan twice this week, getting over the little episode we had last Friday.

Me: hi...

He usually doesn't text me so, weird. I heard the loud blow dryer Callie owns go on, as I received Maya's call.

Me: hello?
Maya: hey! Where are we meeting?
Me: umm the mall?
Maya: okay- I'll take a vanilla bean, thanks Gray.
Me: wait, Grayson's coming?
Maya: yeah, duh.
Me: I thought it was a girls day?
Maya: well.. Uh.. ToLateBye

I specifically told her we needed a day. I love Grayson, but I haven't had a day with my three girls in a while. Kinda a little freaking annoyed.

I felt mad, but I understood she just really likes him. I scrolled through my Instagram feed and saw Ethan posted a photo that already has 12k likes in 1 minute. When Grayson told me they were vine famous, I didn't think he meant it. Not that I doubt them being able to be famous, but because Grayson just likes to joke around.

Ethan Dolan: thnx for liking da pic fam (: wyd today?
Me: living
Ethan Dolan: by yourself? ):
Me: no with my friends
Ethan Dolan: so me too?(:
Me: no
Ethan Dolan: let's hang
Me: 🤔 imma be with Callie, Maya, and Grayson
Ethan Dolan: MY BROTHER BUT NOT ME???
Me: yes lol
Ethan Dolan: can I pls go??
Me: don't be a dick
Ethan Dolan: I won't ☺️ see you at ?
Me: the mall @ 12
Ethan Dolan: imma take a friend his names Jack Dail? You know him?
Me: YES I LOVE HIM HE THE HOMIE
Ethan Dolan:😂 see you

"Yoo!!" Callie waved her hands in front of me. I smiled at her and got up. She grabbed her bag and told she'd just grab something to eat later.

"So, Maya invited Grayson and Ethan texted me saying he really wanted to come and he's bringing Jack." I sighed, unlocking my car and getting in. Callie slid in and rolled her eyes.

"She's boy crazy. But we love her. And Jack Dail??" She got excited when she mentioned Jack. She's always had a thing for him. I nodded and she plugged in her phone to the aux. 'I'm in love' by Skate ft Jack & Jack started playing. We started singing a long as I pulled out of her driveway.

On our way to our mall, we stopped by McDonald's drive thru so she could get her breakfast. We talked about the smallest things as we drove. We rarely mention drama, unless it involves us. Why stick our noses into someone else's business.

  Incoming call from Ethan Dolan

    "Ugh, can you decline please." I told Callie as I gave her my phone. She turned down the music and answered the phone. I groaned and slapped her arm with my arm that wasn't one the steering wheel.

   "Helloooooooo!" Callie sing-songed into phone. She put it on speaker.

   "Hey, Callie. Where do we meet you guys?" I heard Ethan's cheerful voice come through the phone.

  "Creep, how do you know my voice?"

"It didn't sound like Row and I know that because we talk on the phone a lot and I know Maya's with Grayson because I see them right now. Meet you in the food court?"

"Aww, you guys talk on the phone? How cute!!! And okay, food court. Bye!" She hung up and smiled at me. I parked the car and was about to get out but got pulled by Callie.

   "Spill. Now." I rolled my eyes. Lately, she's been believing I have a 'thing' for Ethan.

   "Yes, he's attractive. Yes, we've talked a lot more. No, I do not like him. Now stop thinking I do!" I grabbed my bag and phone, got out the car and waited for Callie.

    "Yeah, but let's say in two months he asks you out? Would you say yes?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me, as she got out of the car. I locked it and looked back at her.

   "What are we? 12? I don't know, I don't like flings, but I don't want someone too serious about the relationship. I'm a lot to handle and I don't think Ethan can handle it." We walked in through the doors but entered throughs the food court's entrance.

    "Shut up, you're secretly in love with him." Callie linked her arm through mine and shook me a bit.

   "Nah, you're secretly in love with Jack!" I chuckled and pushed her off. She slapped my arm and crossed her arms. She scoffed and rolled her eyes.
  "Moody, much?"

  "You're such a bully-MAYA!" She ran from me and gave Maya a big hug.

  "I'm the best-GRAYSON!" I only did this to mimic her. I gave him a hug but quickly left to give Maya one.

   "What about me?!" Jack yelled, grabbing Callie.

   "Totally in love." I mumbled and crossed my arms.

   "Lowkey ship it. Now hug me!" Ethan whispered in my ear, scaring me a bit. I rolled my eyes and hugged him. We decided to head to Topshop first.

   "Hey, mall buddy." And with that, we all separated.

A/n HI IM SORRY I DIED! Jk I had a dance recital so I was mainly focused on that and I have finals so kill me now ok bye ily
