Chapter 12

Rylee's POV

I woke up to a pair of bright blue eyes staring down at me.

"Holy shit Niall!"

I jumped off the couch landing with a thud.

Niall chuckled above me.

"Sorry, I was just enjoying watching you sleep."

I huffed, getting off the floor and brushing myself off.

"Creeper."

Niall smirked, motioning for me to follow him into the kitchen.

"Soooo whadaya want for breakfast?"

He started rummaging through the cabinets looking for something to eat.

"AHA!"

Niall pulled out a box of lucky charms along with two bowls.

"You can never go wrong with cereal."

I let out a giggle as Niall poured cereal and milk into each of the bowls. He handed me one of the bowls and started munching on his cereal.

*Knock* *Knock*

He sat down his bowl, jogging to the door.

"Oh hey Jacey."

I walked to the door to see Jacey clutching a magazine in her arms with a sad expression on her face. As soon as she saw me she came running into my arms sobbing.

"Jacey what's wrong?!"

She handed me the magazine, on the cover was a picture of Macey, Jackie, and some blonde girl. The cover read ' The Hoez to release new album titled "Who we are"'

My mouth hung agape. That's OUR album!

"How could they do this? It's only been one day!"

Niall read the cover over my shoulder letting out a sigh.

"I guess they've been planning this for awhile."

Jacey continued to cry as I rubbed her back, attempting to comfort her.

Jacey's phone started ringing. She cleared her throat and wiped under her eyes before answering.

"Hello?"

After about two minutes she hung up placing her phone back in her pocket.

"Jim wants us to meet him at the studio."

Me and Niall nodded as Jacey started walking back down the hallway.

"Well I better go and make myself look presentable."

Niall nodded pulling me in for a hug and kissing the top of my head.

"No matter what happens, I'll always be here for you."

I smiled up at Niall pecking him on the lips before following Jacey down the hallway.

As soon as I walked into the studio I was pulled into a group hug. I looked around me to see Cooper, Taylor, Blaine, and Zach with sad expressions on their faces. We all stood there in a comfortable silence taking in each others state.

When we all pulled away I saw the rest of our group standing around in the hallways waiting to be called into the meeting room.

After about ten minutes we were called in by Haleigh (tour manager). We all took a seat around the large rectangular table, Jim sitting at one end and Haleigh at the other.

"So today we have an important decision to make."

Everybody nodded their heads, signaling for Jim to continue.

"Unfortunately we are going to have to make a whole new album by the end of this month."

We had already decided to just ignore the whole Macey and Jackie thing, and just continue the band with only three people, so the only thing this meeting could be about is the album.

My mouth hung agape in shock. There was no way we could write, record, and publish a whole new album by the end of the month. It just wasn't possible!

"There's no way we can do that!!"

I looked to Madi who had stood up while talking raising her voice at the very end.

Jim grimaced, probably not liking how Madi yelled at him.

"Well then there's only one more option."

I was pretty sure I knew what he was going to say next, but there is no way I will let that happen.

Jim looked around as to see if we were listening before clearing his throat.

"Either The Shock makes a new album by the end of the month, or this band is over."

VERY short chapter! I'm super sorry about that, but I'm kind of busy right now.
