Chapter 3

•••••••••••••Cooper's POV•••••••••••••••

I was waiting in our hotel room while Rylee got ready. Today they were eliminating 10 people.

I watched as Rylee paced around the room with a worried expression on her face.

"You'll make it, I promise."

She looked up from pacing and gave me a weak smile.

"I hope so"

I could barely hear her, because she was whispering.

Right then there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it"

I got up and walked over to the door peeping through the little glass hole as a huge smile found its way on my face.

I turned the cold knob and quickly opened the door.

"Hey beautiful"

Madi giggled as I leaned down and kissed her cheek.

Oh yeah forgot to mention, me and Madi are dating.

I welcomed her in and she skipped her way over to the couch plopping herself down on the soft cushions.

I noticed she wasn't her normal bubbly self.

"Something wrong?"

I walked over to the couch sitting down next to her.

"What if I don't make it?"

She looked as if she was fighting back tears. I leaned over and pulled her into a warm hug.

"I know you will, your amazing!"

She pulled back from our embrace giving me a warm smile before leaning in for a long passionate kiss.

It started getting a little heated. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her into me deepening the kiss.

"AHH MY EYES!!"

We quickly broke apart both blushing furiously as we watched Rylee rolling on the ground screaming like a crazy person.

"WHY ME?? WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS?!"

After Rylee finished her dramatic scene we all started to head down to the auditorium.

I entwined me and Madi's fingers together as we skipped to the elevator.

"I CALL PUSHING THE BUTTON!!"

Rylee quickly ran over to the elevator pushing the button making it light up.

"Pretty light......"

"Ya'know Rylee sometimes I wonder what age you think you are."

She looked at me before answering

"Ya'know Cooper sometimes I wonder if you've always been a jackass."

I just narrowed my eyes at her as she let out a bark of laughter.

When we got down to the auditorium Rylee and Madi marched on stage and got in a line next to all of the other contestants.

The judges went on to talk about how great they all were and that even if they are eliminated they should keep trying because they have talent.... Yada, yada,yada.

Blake stood up before reading from a list of all of the people that will stay in the competition.

2 people were called........5 people were called........8 people were called.... 10 people were called

But Rylee Mathers, and Madison Frack weren't......

I watched as Madi and Rylee hugged the people who made it before walking off of the stage with 8 other people.

Madi ran straight into my arms and started crying.

"Shh , it's okay"

She looked up with puffy eyes.

"No it's not Cooper, I have to go home now. We can't be together anymore."

I didn't even think about this. Madi is from England. I'm from Fort Worth.

Before I knew it I was tearing up too.

I didn't even notice Madi's maid walk up behind us.

"Umm may i speak to Miss. Frack?"

I nodded before releasing Madi and walking over to Rylee.

Rylee looked up at me with a look of jealousy across her face.

"Oh so now you want to talk to me."

I was so confused.

"What do you mean?"

I looked at her with a questioning look.

"I mean I brought you here because your my best friend! But all you do is spend time with Madi. Coop you're all I have left!!"

I felt terrible these past couple of weeks I've been ignoring Rylee. I'm supposed to be her main supporter!

"Oh my gosh Rylee I'm so sorry!! I was such an idiot for not spending enough time with you!!"

Rylee looked like she was debating wether or not to forgive me. She looked up at me before sighing and giving me a weak smile.

"I forgive you, I just can't believe this is it. What do I do now?"

I was about to answer her but I was interrupted by Blake.

" I need to invite 5 people back onto the stage"

I looked up at Blake in confusion before he started to speak again.

"I need Jacqueline Garcia, Jacey Bonds, Macey Thompson, Madison Frack, and Rylee Mathers to come back on stage"

Rylee looked stunned before getting up and slowly walking back on stage.

Once all of the girls were back on stage Adam spoke up.

"Have you girls ever heard of a band called One Direction?"

All of the girls nodded their heads

"Well we talked to their management and we've decided that we're going to put you 5 girls into a band and you guys are going to go on a conjoined tour with One Direction."

They all stood there in pure shock before getting into a huge group hug and jumping around like crazy people.

Madi ran off stage and jumped into my arms.

"I knew you would make it!"

She smiled at me before crashing her lips onto mine.
