This is where I am going to share with you all a video/song every week off of YouTube, that has a true meaning IN MY OPINION. I will take request, or if you have a video that to you have a meaning, please be free to comment with the link below or even message me.
So this first video is called "To This Day" by Shane Koyczan. The reason I want to share with you this video is because, a LOT of people struggle with depression, and even bullying. I know I did. I want you all to know, that other's are going through what you are going through. I was RIGHT there in you're spot MOST of my life. I was bullied all through middle school, because I was over weight, tall, and had glasses. I was called names like Miss. Porky, Chubby Cake, Fat a$$, four eyes, loner, loser, and I was even asked how the weather was up there because of my height. I hated my life so much, I started cutting, I even burned myself with fire. I have scars all over my thighs, legs, and arms because of that. I am not proud of my scars, but I don't hide them either. I know my past, and yes I was tired of being made fun of, so I lost the weight, ditched the glasses, but I can't help my height. I am now 5'11 1/2 and I still get asked that stupid joke, which by the way isn't funny AT ALL, but I accept my height I can reach the top shelf, I can jump and hit the rim of the basket ball hoop. I can do so many things because of my height, I WILL NEVER GET KICKED OFF A ROLLER COASTER BECAUSE OF MY HEIGHT. That to me is awesome.
To people who think bullying is funny, or fun, or amusing. Take a walk in the life of someone who is bullied and see how you feel. Let me toss at you all the words of hate you tossed at me. Let us trade life's and live as one another go through the pain and emptiness of the everyday life. Now lets toss in the bullies and the knife of words they speak. Then let's see how long you can last with those elements in life that I had to deal with, that EVERYONE who has EVER been bullied has to deal with. How long would you last? How long until you cried? Cut? Burned? Think of suicide.... Not only are you causing those but some kids, some PEOPLE actually kill themselves because of the words of hate you spit through those open mouths and closed minds.
