Oranges Under Construction. (ON HOLD. Sorry again D:)

Chapter 3.

The next day Kyle and I went to everywhere possible. Stores, strip malls, a carnival that was in the next town over, the movies, even a museum. Which was surprising because usually that's all boring crap.

I tried buying some stuff but Kyle insisted that he bought everything. It was weird.

"Well it's getting pretty late.." I said as we stopped at a red light.

"What? It's only 12:07 am.. we still have so much to do and buy!" He said with happy tone but a hint of sadness.

"We have bought everything from a gumball to a free trip to any Six Flags place! How is that not enough?" I asked.

"Fine, but let's stop by my place first." He said making a U-turn.

He told me to wait in his truck while he went into get something. It was about Ten minutes before he came back holding something behind his back.

"Sorry it took so long, I had to find it." He said as he opened the driver's side.

"It's alright." I said while yawning.

"So..what's behind your back?" I asked curious trying to see.

"Close your eyes." He whined like I should've known.

I sighed and closed them.

"Now, Hold out your hands."

I did as I was told and felt something jingle into them.

"Now open." He muttered.

"Oh my.. I LOVE IT!" I said hugging him. He had the biggest smile on his face after that, it probably went from ear to ear.

It was a necklace with a Orange on it.

"You can open it too." He said.

"really..?" I said a little schocked.

It was a picture of him on one side and me on the other.

"I.. I.." I said not able to form words as my vision blurred.

"you love it?" He asked.

Not being able to speak led me to nod my head visciously to answer 'yes.'

"I'm really going to miss you.." I said holding his hand.

"I'm going to miss you too.. I know i've said that alot but I really mean it." He said sniffling.

"Are you crying?" I asked.

"No ahah, alergies. But besides that, then yeah i'm tearing up a little. Tomorrow...or today since it's past 12 am than I will probably bawl like a baby." 

"Aww your so adorable." I said smiling.

I hope Kyle will miss me as much as I will miss him...

 Well, today was the day. 

The day I leave my little apartment and head to Omaha. 

After putting on some jeans and a blue shirt and purple jacket I drug myself to the kitchen.

I looked around the room, surprised Kyle wasn't here. Also, wheres my mom? I swear I heard her talking when I was getting ready.

I grabbed an orange from the kitchen table and started peeling it when my mom walks in with Kyle.

"Heyy!" I said tearing a peice of orange off and handing them each a slice.

"April can you and Kyle get those last few boxes in the corner while I go collect some more of my make-up from the bathroom?"
