"Andrea, so you know who your parents are?" I ask, in a concerned tone.
"N-no." She stammers.
I saw that necklace your wearing. Before you were even born. Andrea, it belongs to a evil siren named Lillith. I managed to get the necklace away from her and destroy it. I don't know why you have it now." I comment.
"What? My ancestor is evil and you met her. How could you have met her? You are my age!" She says.
"I am a Sila. We are mermaid guardians. We live for a very long time. I may look young but I am very old." I reply.
"A Sila." She says laughing. "Are you serious?"
"Yes. I would not lie about something like this." I pause. "Give me the necklace. I need to make sure it will not being Lillith back."
She hesitates, "But it's my mum's. I can't just give it away. Its all I have of hers!"
"I know who your mum is, give me the necklace and I will tell you who she is." I say.
Without a second thought Andrea unclasps the necklace from her neck and puts it into the palm of my outstretched hand.
"So. Who is my mum?" She asks expectant.
"Rikki Bennett." I reply with a smile.
