I kept running through all the rubble and ashes that was once my home. I could still hear every gunshot, explosion and scream in the back of my mind.

When I was a good distance away I finally collapsed on the ground and started crying. Crying from the pain of it all, I wiped the blood that was still fresh on my face and ripped the locket I was wearing from my neck. I opened it up and found myself looking at a pair of eyes that were as blue as ice. It was as If they were piercing into my soul and I knew that I would never see those eyes In person ever again and that realization hurt my already broken heart.

I could've done something, anything and If I had maybe I wouldn't be alone and they would all still be alive....
