When they arrived Gary's hand was slapped off of Red Knights arm. "Ouch that hurt".
Red knight was looking around in disbelief and not really paying attention to Gary he says "Instinct"."Well can you turn "Instinct" off" Gary says with the mocking in his voice again.
Based on their earlier conversation Red Knight already knows to block out Gary. Mostly because he's the jokster, and Red hates "jokes".
"So! What do u think?". Gary asked with too much enthusiasm.
Red still in disbelief. "Where are we?"
"Somewhere in the desert I think".
"Where in the desert Gary?"
"If I knew I would've told you, instead of saying somewhere in the desert".
Red Knight looked at Gary with a straight face, not angry or mad just...straight.
The look intimidated Gary. "OK fine I'm sorry".
"Whatever". Red Knight turned away to see the man walking towards them.
"Welcome Mr......" With his arm extended the man waited for a response from Red Knight.
"What is it with you people and handshakes? Red, you can call me Red" he said as they shook hands.
"Ok...Red...welcome to my facility I'm General Tass and I see you've already met Gary, by the way, well done Gary".
"Yooo! What's up Tass" Gary said with a chill voice.
Gen. Tass gave Gary a stare and a juke with his head. Gary gave Gen. Tass the same look Red had when he saw the place, confusion.
After a few seconds Gary caught on."Ohhh privacy, right, umm OK I'll see you later Red". And just like that Gary was gone.
"So let me show you around and we can discuss why I told Gary to come get you".
They walked and talked for a while until Red stopped and stormed off.
Gary was just watching them and speeded after Red Knight."Red whats wrong?"
Red answered with another question "Did you know about this?"
Gary-"Know about what?"
Red stared at Gary "Why I'm here, why we're both here".
Gary-"I guess not, I never asked"
Red. "He wants to turn us into weapons that he can manipulate and use whenever he wants"
Gary-"Oh. Yea I knew about that"
Red-"And you're ok with it?"
Gary-"I trust them, I trust Tass"
Red looked at Gary and wiped his hand across his face.
Gary-"Listen, I grew up here. I know the ins and outs of this place and I know the people. I trust them with my life and I know that if that's what they want to do it must be for a good reason".
The fact that Gary actually said something intelligent in defense for this unknown place
convinced Red that he should stay
"OK fine I stay until we're done with whatever we gotta do, but I don't feel right about this. There's something Tass isn't telling us"
"Phew, good I thought I was gonna have to say something else smart".
