"i lied to keep you from breaking my heart"

- nicki minaj, "i lied"

Standing at one of the many little shop-like things, Cedric watched as Alec jumped to avoid detection from the shapeshifter. He knew that he was up next and decided to send a smirk up to Alec before following behind the older man. Izzy was above him and soon up on a roof to follow above. The two saw him shift into a black man with a blue jumpsuit.

Once again, the shifter was in a new persona. This time a woman in a scandalous fuchsia dress with black rips up and down the front and back of it. Cedric jumped onto a building to avoid being spotted and the four Shadowhunters were in a line watching as the shapeshifter entered into Pandemonium. In sync, the four did a backflip and landed in a line on the ground. They followed behind the woman in the ponytail, all of them in their own world.

Izzy sent Cedric a wink as he stuck one of his hands in the front of his pants pocket. The two were walking side by side with Cedric on the end. She had a long trench coat on with her blonde wig on that Cedric admired. He, himself, wore all black with a single grey t-shirt. His blonde hair spoofed up in the front; Alec had given him hell for spending so much time on it, but, in the end, it tied Cedric's entire look together. Plus, Alec had gazed at Cedric a second longer than he usually did, so that was a plus.

It took the three a moment to notice Jace's absence, but they turned and saw him in a conversation with a red-headed girl. They shared a look before calling his name and continuing into the club.

Eight Hours Earlier

"Cedric, get your arse out here," Alec implored as he was waiting for his sister's parabatai to exit his bathroom. Alec had been ready for a while and he and Jace were waiting on Isabelle and Cedric to finish getting ready.

Putting the finishing touched on his hair, Cedric paused to roll his eyes at Alec's incessant whining about being late. The boy was wound too tight. Cedric smirked at himself in the mirror, loving how it ended just how he wanted it. He paused to pick his black jacket up from his bed and then walked out of his room. Alec was standing in front of his door putting one of his gloves on. Cedric rose an eyebrow as Alec slowly raised his vision to the boy. "How do I look? Good, I know. You don't have to tell me. Honestly, Alec, you should know by now that this takes time."

"You're ridiculous," he replied before looking him over for the third time. Forcing Cedric to stand next to him, Alec shook his head as they continued to wait for his sister. Cedric didn't mind much because he was so used to it, but Alec was a straight-bent guy that liked getting his way and that meant being on time. For the third time he called for his sister, "Isabelle, let's go."

Walking out of her room and to the boys, they took in her outfit. A two piece leather white bralette that wound its way around her neck and skirt with a platinum white wig in her hands. Cedric smirked as she came closer to the two. There was a disobedient smirk on her lips that made Cedric proud. Izzy grinned, "Hey, there, big bro. Don't you look dashing?" Izzy winked to Cedric and laced her free arm through his. The three knew that the last sentence was sent to Cedric.
