Camila was sitting by her window and looking out through the transparent glass, Christmas lights and decorations were illuminating the night and made the streets appear with an angelic glow.
She was wearing a sweater with reindeers, and on her head she wore the famous red and white Christmas hat. Getting lost in her thoughts was something she did quite a lot, she always had something to think about.
The Jauregui family were coming over soon to celebrate with them, she grew up with them, and they were like her second family, their big hearts and infectious smiles always made her happy to have them in her life. But one specific Jauregui caught her attention.
Lauren
The green-eyed beauty was there by her side since she was born. Her best friend and partner in crime. Even when she was younger, she always had a certain infatuation for the older girl. But when Camila became a little older, her certain infatuation became a little crush. What started as a little innocent crush never diminished, it intensified gradually over the years.
To make matters worse, Lauren was consistently overly affectionate with her. Always innocently kissing her on the shoulder, cheek, neck or forehead. Saying sweet nothings in her ear like they were lovers, and holding her hand whenever and wherever. Leaving Camila feeling like a pile of mush with crimson cheeks, and Lauren completely oblivious about it.
Little did Camila know, Lauren had a crush on her as well. A big one. She was enamored by the younger girl, When Camila wasn't looking, Lauren would look at her lovingly and prevent her cheeky smile by biting her lip, and releasing a soft sigh.
They were both oblivious to each others feelings, but their families sure weren't. Their families always knew there was a different kind of bond between them, and catching both of them staring at each other then looking away smiling, confirmed it.
Snapping Camila out of her thoughts was the sound of little footsteps running towards her room.
"Kaki!" Camila's little sister said.
"Yes, Sofi?" Camila turned her head towards her sister, who was holding a piece of paper.
"Woah." Sofi softly said, as she took in the sight of her older sisters room.
Fairy lights were neatly draped across the walls of her room, making her room look like she captured the stars, and glued it there.
"It looks really pretty." Sofi said in awe.
"Yea, I did it earlier. I'm surprised I didn't get hurt in the process, anyways what you got there?" Camila chuckled and then pointed at the drawing in her little sisters hand.
Sofi handed the paper to her older sister, who took it and saw a picture of three figures and a dog. "It's for Lauren when she comes over." At the sound of her crushes name, Camila's heart skips a beat.
Sofi points at each of the figures in the drawing going from left then to right, starting with Camila, then Lauren, Sofi, and then "Jaspar" who is supposedly Lauren and Camila's, "future dog."
"Do you think she'll like it?" Sofi asked.
"She'll love it, she loves anything you give her." Camila smiled at the thought of her younger sister and crushes relationship, they were absolutely adorable.
