After Jakes legendary performance, it was clear he is in! I had the weirdest kind of happiness deep within...I had just met him and it felt like a strange connection.

I glance around and realize that I'd completely forgotten about Kian. He was fuming with rage and glaring at Jake.  And Jake, he was right beside me.
"So...?", he teasingly asked.
"So?", I blurted out, completely embarrassed.
"No one has been able to get in eh?" He said with triumph.
"Until now", I murmured.
And he burst out laughing, he wasn't supposed to do that but he looked so beautiful, I wish he hadn't stopped.
"It's okay it happens", he smirked and walked away.
What was that supposed to mean?

I was catching up with him but someone caught my hand...it was Kian.
"You better not talk to that jerk.", he warned.
"Why? Kian, he isn't bad okay?" , I defended in a rather calm tone.
"Just don't talk to him Thee", he insisted.
"Who are you to tell me that? You're just jealous of him"
"What do you mean?", he asked dismayed.
"He plays amazing football, he looks hot and the girls drool over him, he's popular and you can't bear the fact that he's better than you Kian, oh yeah and you're even hitting on his sister" I put everything out on him.
"How dare you say that?  I thought we were best friends...", he said and to my surprise he was disappointed.
"Best friends? Were you there when I needed you?  You remember me when you want something done. What do you know about me? In fact you're so insecure of me being your friend. Why? Because I'm not like you or the other popular ones out there. I'm just Thea. And for the first time I socialize properly and you have a problem with
it?"

I felt my mind clearing, he at least knows now that I knew the truth.
He was utterly disappointed and equally angry,
"If that's what you think about me then do me a favor, don't ever talk to me again" he screamed.
"Okay, it's what you've always wanted"
I retorted back with the same pitch.

Everyone were heading back home and I headed to my favorite spot, the music room. Kian hasn't even looked at me after the feud and I feel an indescribable emptiness creeping upon me. I so badly wanted to make everything right but it's his fault...

Music never disappoints and I rush to the music room and close the door making sure no one hears me sing. No one has ever heard me sing and I don't wish anyone ever would but maybe I do...
I sit back, grab my guitar and begin on my tune and slowly I'm dragged into the depths of the unfounded rythm...music is my only escape from all the materialistic miseries....it's a paradise better than mere heaven...it's the only thing I can cling upon.

As I finish my song...I sit back with a rejevunated mind and extreme satisfaction.

To my horror, I hear someone clapping from behind after which a deep voice speaks out with appreciation,
"Damn Thea, Amazing! This is the best thing I've heard in ages!"

Jake.
