Two Days Ago...
Cat's POV
"CAT KOLEMAN I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"
Allison Gosling burst through the band hall and tackled her friend.
Cat screamed dramatically, but her giggles made it evident she didn't take her best friend seriously.
"What?" she said playfully, "all I did was tell Douglas you liiiike him."
Allison whacked her in the head with her binder. "Exactly! I don't like him!"
"Yeah, whatever," Cat sang.
"Who likes who?" a voice came from their right. Douglas Yu stumbled out of the orchestra room, eyes lit at the sound of drama.
"NO ONE!" Allison screeched as Cat piped, "ALLISON LIKES YOU!"
"I heard Alister likes Eve, that's all I know," Douglas smirked.
"Oooooh," the girls chorused as Alister walked out of the orchestra room after Eve, who gave the group a weird look and walked away.
Alister Quincy slugged Douglas in the arm. "Go ahead, just tell the whole world."
Obviously, Alister's 'sarcastic' tone was too monotone for Douglas to pick up because the Korean boy yelled at the top of his lungs, "ALISTER LIKES EEEEVE!"
"SHUT UP!"
Alessya Gander waltzed into the fine arts hall singing 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight'.
The girls laughed hysterically.
"Just another day isn't it?" Caren said.
Allison rolled her eyes but laughed along with Alessya who replied, "Yeah, basically."
The trio and the bickering duo walked out of the school and waited by the climbing ropes for their friends Anders and Siddhart, who were playing tennis.
"Race you to the track!" Cat shouted. The group took off, stumbling and flailing as they pushed past each other. Cat let out a breath of laughter. Everything was so light-spirited and fun. Nothing seemed to scream "Disaster!" Or so she thought...
