Aphmau's Pov Laurance will be in it soon XD hang in dere!
Walking up to a distinctive bang that was heard from outside, making me nearly jump out of my skin. Quickly rushing outside, I saw three guards trying to solve a problem between two of the villagers.
"She was hitting on my man!"
"He was injured!". What do I do... What do I do! I quickly ran up to where the fight was breaking out, and quickly grabbed one of the girls wrists when they were just about to slap the other.
"I think this is a huge misunderstanding. Give her the benefit of the doubt, ok?" I said calmly, with sorrowful eyes, making her back down and mutter a faint sorry
"Excuse me, but I havnt seen you here before. Are you knew?" The other girl asked, with eyes and a smile of complete and utter gratitude. She had mid length hair the colour of milk chocolate. That's all I could gather before I whipped around to see one of the guards had tapped me on the shoulder.
"Um, would it be alright if you helped with the situation? And my names Garroth, miss..."
"Aphmau, my names Aphmau. I've already gotten involved, so I'll have to help anyway" I sighed, with a small smile that I havnt shown, or even felt in years.
"Also, did you repair the damage that was done to the town?" A different guard asked, having pure black, glossy hair. I nodded slightly, not sure weather I should stay and help, or go further away from Michi.
"We recently lost our lord, and no ones standing up to the position, would you... Want to?" Garroth muttered shyly, but I wonder what happened to the other lord...
"I'll think about it.. But right now I need to solve a problem" I said with a smile, and they waved as they left for the rest of town.
"Now, what exactly happened, I want your side first." I put on the best cheerful face I could muster, and somehow managed to solve the problem. Apparently, the brown haired girl was healing his injuries, and his wife thought she stole him...
"That was... Weird" I sighed, placing my hand above my eye and ruffling a part of my hair from the stress and relief.
"Indeed it was"
"Eek!... Garroth don't scare me like that!"
"Sorry..."
"Oh no! It's ok! Just don't do it again. I almost had a heart attack." I Sighed, clenching my fists and releasing them.
"But what happened to your lord?"
"I cant remember... and I dont know why. I only know the name of this place im supposed to be guarding. Phoenix Drop" He replied sadly. Just like how I cant rememeber much about my lost friend...
"Well, im sure your going to remember someday!" I cheered slightly. It wasnt just reasurance for him, but myself too. He could be right next to me for all I know, and I wouldntrecignise him one bit. Its... quite depressing. Having one of your dearest friends ripped from your grasp for almost twenty years, and not being able to even remember their name.
"Well, you can choose to be lord anytime you want, and I think you slept for overnight if you did sleep here." His voice softened and his eyes suddenly glowed with joy.
"I think I know that, but thank you anyway" I giggled, waving as I ran off to check other areas of the town.
"Good morning Ma'm!" a young adult male cheered, inside a merchant stall waving. I made them yesterday incase of trading buisness. They arnt very good, but they look sturdy enough.
"Morning" I said, walking over, and listening to him ramble about how good these fairy lights are... and how beautiful this dress is, and how cheap it would be for me to buy it.
"Oh, sorry milady, My names Logan. Im not usually this kind, but you are the one who built this, correct?" I just nodded, giving him my name.
"Imsorry but I dont have any money on me..." I replied slowly, and then he just shoed me off. Guess he doesnt want lingering people around who arnt going to buy anything he sells. Thats kind of understandable... but very... very... rude!
"Um... Excuse me... But...Please... leave Kawaii~chan alone..." I heard a faint cry of a girl, and looked behind a house to see a young man pushing her up against the back of the building. Pink hair, golden eyes, and pink ears and tail. There was a pinkish red tint to a bow with a bell as an acessory for her tail.
"Eh ehm! Excuse me, but that isnt what you should be doing to a girl, please leave." I tried to talk him to leave kindly, but just ignored me. I quickly walked over, grabbed his shirt, and kicked him where the sun don't shine.
"What the..." He moaned, then I grabbed the cat girls wrist, and ran.
"Where are you t-taking Kawaii~chan!" She stuttered, looking back at the man following us.
"Garroth! Zenix!" I yelled, but got no reply. Damnit!!! I was suddenly pushed back, and he was right in front of us. How did he do that?!
"Now I've got you!"
"How dare you disobey orders" I snapped, and his face quickly went to shock.
"Orders? There isn't a lord here! No one gave orders!" He chuckled. Damnit... Guess I'm becoming the lord anyway... There goes my freedom.
"My name is Aphmau, and a guard recently asked if I wanted to become lord for the stuff I've done to help the village. I accepted." I said with glaring eyes, but kind words.
"No... This can't... Not after what... Not already..." His eyes showed fear, and in the blink of an eye, he ran away. You could have thought he even peed his pants.
"Kawaii~chan is very grateful for what you did Aphmau senpai!" She giggled, pulling me into a tight hug, when she realeased me, Garroth appeared.
"So your the new lord" he chuckled, and although I didn't have much of a choice, I felt like it was the right thing to do. Hopefully, I'm right.
