"Diana! Hurry up you'll be late for school!!" yelled Diana's aunt "I'm coming" a tall lightly tanned girl yelled back as she came running down the old brown staircase in trying not to trip and fall on her face, she grabbed her books and ran for the door only to skid to an abrupt halt as she realized her aunt was In the kitchen and she didn't have time for a lecture on been up late again, "your a ninjas, a super ninjas like a black super green ninjas" she whispered to herself as she tried to sneak by the kitchen door, just as she made it to the door her aunt came walking into the living room and yelled "Diana!!" Diana smiled and said quickly "oh! Hi aunt lura! Bye aunt lura!" And tried to slip out the door before her aunt could deliver one of her famous and loooong lectures, "dinners at 6:00 don't be late!" Her aunt called, she did not sound happy, crap "Ok, ok, love you" not stopping to hear If her aunt heard she shut the door and sprinted for the bus, "sorry" she sayed breathlessly giving the impatient bus driver a apologetic smile "diana!" squealed her over zealous best friend Alyshia "yoh" Diana huft sitting down next to her "late again?!" Alyshia smirked "No, just taking my time" Diana smiled and tried to change the subject "I like your blue hat its very dashing against those yeller curls of yours." "Oh are you jealous?" smiles Alyshia they both laugh, a companionable silence falls over them as they think about the day ahead and the long hours at school that awaited them, they only had two classes together and the rest of school sucked without her bestfriend, finally Alyshia said quietly "you wanna come to my house after school?" Diana bit her lip thinking "I don't think so aunt lura's' expecting me for dinner" "awww" Alyshia pouted and nodded, Diana sighed Turning to look out the window and frowns "you know what?" she turned to a disheartened Alyshia and smiles "I'll ask when I get home and if uncle David can't drive me over we can meet at the old fort in the back woods." "Sweet!" Alyshia fist pumps the air "see you then" diana laughed at he sudden change. In her friends mood the. got out of her seat as the bus stopped and the doors flew open, oh crap school had begun.Walking to her locker to pick up a few things she went straight to her first class, the bell rang a minute or two before she ot there and she opened the door to many pairs of eyes to her and she swallowed hard and pushed down the urge to run out the door and never come back, she nodded acknowledging the teacher and mumbled apologies about been late going to take her seat next to Angola porter; a pale wispy blond girl, Diana pondered why she hadn't been blown away yet, because Angola looked like she weighed 50 ponds, if that. She was still one of the most flirtatious girls in school next to kathleen who had probably slept with the whole school, or at least that's what the rumours said "hello class!" calls the teacher interrupting "good morning miss prudents!" replies the whole class macanically, the rest of the school passed in a blur and before she new it, it was lunch time, she normally ate outside. Not in the cafeteria because Alyshia always ate with her cheer leader group and Diana had no one else to sit with, she was not popular, and she was not unpopular, somewhere in between, she could mingle and get along with just about any group if she really tried but most people annoyed her to much so she decided not to bother, she had become friends with alyshia last summer when her and her aunt and uncle had moved here, they lived in a small town, you know the kind that is in the mountains that had lots of trees and random streams and wild animals and such? Yea, that kind, it was really cool but not much different from where we'd lived before, much uncle had business here with elders, the elders, oh? Did I not mention? Their are supernatural in the world, yea, cool right? I wasn't one though. Well, not the normal kind, I smelled human but I wasn't, that was my secret though, on my aunt and uncle new what I was, we came here for uncle to talk with the elders about something and we liked it so much that we ended up moving here, we had a fairly big house on a more secluded spot just outside of town, I met Alyshia in the woods near my house, I'll loved exploring and so as soon as we unpacked I. Was off, looking around the house first then the yard and finally the woods, I met her when i was running down a deer path and i bumped right into her, causing us both to fall over. I had apologized profusely and heLped her up but she just grinned and told me to shut up and save my apologies for some one that needed them, after that we agree d to meet again in the woods and it became our own little spot. We weren't. Close friends but we were good friends. I was jolted out of my reminiscing by someone snickering "well lookie here if it isn't the new girl, aww eating by yourself again? What's wrong? No one wants to be friends with a freak?" Oh yea, I forgot to mention, I'm blind. I'm Not, blind blind thou, it comes and it goes, I have a very rare condition. It was dangerous for me because unlike could sudden lyrics go blind at any time, I don't know how the school found out but one of the teacher must have said so something then it was around the whole school In a matter of hours, I was known as "freak" or "blindy" lame I know, I turned to give a piercing glare at the guy that called me freak and then laughed "me? A freak? Have you looked in the mirror Josh!? Your face is entirely black and blue!" I giggled at the site of his face and he glared angrily "it was that new punk, stupid kid thought he could get away with hitting me, I'll show him, just you wait, he's going to pay for this, and badly" he spat with venom and bared his teeth angrily before marching away. Yea, he's a werewolf and he is passed. Wonder how the new kid did that... I thought about it for a free minutes then decided the new kid must be a superntural to, none of them new I or my family new about them of course they might try to have us killed if they did, but i was good and figuring out who was what and I hadn't noticed anything inhuman about the new boy, he was cute , short black hair and dark eyes, he didn't smile much and stayed by himself most the time, he liked track and basketball and was good at it to, or so said Angola and Kathleen, I shook my head, slightly, the new kids getting himself into deep trouble, this was not good. I didn't normally interfere with supernatural fights but I felt like this was an exeption. I got up as the bell rang for class and wondered back to the school. The rest of my classes were boring and I found myself almost falling asleep in history, then finally, the bell rang and school was over, I walked to my locker to throw my stuff in and grab my leather jacket, I was very proud of it and I could always tell where t was by the smelled when I was blind, I walked quickly out to the bus was. I didn't look forward to coming BAC tomorrow but hey, I had a boy to warn.
