DIANA'S POV

I use my awesome fighting moves and then I flipping ran.

What was I expected to do? Just stand there and let some strange guy walk me through a dark forest ? That just sounds like trouble and after what I just saw, even more so. I shuddered mid run as I once again envisioned the dismembered body's. And the lunch i had eaten earlier threatened to come back up and I struggled to hold back the urge to hurl and just ran.

My thoughts wondered even as I tried to keep them out.

I had been peacefully walking through the forest following what I thought was a well trodden deer path when I had smelled something awful, so been the stupid and curious person i was, I followed the smell, it was getting really strong when I stopped over a tree root rising partly from the ground, I flailed trying to not fall on my face, but ended up landing on something much worse, a body, it took me a few moments to realize what it was and even then I denied the fact tell I stood up, and screaming, scooted far.. far away from it, I huddled back again the tree I had tripped over and screamed louder that was when I noticed all the other dismembered body's.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by a sudden force again my back pushing my off balance as I had been running and to the side. I tried to keep my footing and managed to but just barely, my side hurt and I sucked in a breath, scanning for what had hit me.

Noting. I saw absolutely nothing. I started to shake again.

Harder now as I realized what ever killed those people could still be out here. Hell it could have even been that boy!

The thought of that almost made me freeze, key word, "almost"

I quickened my pace and was practically running all out but still trying to be cautious of my footing I the fading light but fear made me push less toward cautions and more toward getting the hell out of there.

My eye sight was going crazy, one moment I could see and the next I was blind as a bat. My eye sight came back full blown for a moment so suddenly that i almost lost my balance again, I saw something out of the corner of my eye and whipped around skidding easily into a fighting stance and took in my surroundings, unhappy with how far I'd come and how far I still had to get home, to safety, hopefully i made it alive.

I strained every sense I had to locating any potential danger and vaguely I could feel something there, but not see it. It was close to me but not quite close enough to hear or see even if my eye sight had been good, I knelt slowly on one knee and placed my fingers to the ground, getting a better vibration and there for a better idea of what I was up against.

It was a man I was sure,to heavy and built to be a teenager unless he was on roids, icky, I let my mind take in everything i could. He was not breathing hard so no evidence he had been the one chasing me, but that meant nothing, he could be just a good runner or even a trained hit man. Though why a trained anything would be after me I had no idea.

He shifted and I stiffened, no ready to let him know I knew he was there I moved myself into a falls relaxed position. Faining an easy going manner as if I thought I had lost my attacker and was now just catching my breath and trying to figure out where to go from here.

I felt the man shift again this time moving closer to me, he was silent and moved with skill as if with years of practice, without my amazing touch and hearing ability I had built up over time i never would have known he was there.

He came closer. So close I knew any moment I would be able to see him and he would attack, just then my vision went out, like a light bulb been turned off I was suddenly in total darkness, it would have been terrifying had it not happened a cutrillon times before. Instead of been scared now I just relaxed and let my other senses heighten to compensate.

I could know feel and hear so much better and sometimes I preference been this way. It was actually easier to get around most of the time.

I still knelt and cared my easy going manner even as my attack came out of his hidding place and walked closer. All most agonizingly slow as if wishing to taunt me, daring me to run.

I surprised him. And stayed out. Not even letting up on my easy manner, I even threw him a lazy smile, enough practice with been part blind had taught me how to act like I could see, so right now that's what I did, I looked, or rather pretended to look right at him, faining the relaxed way I moved.

He came closer. So close he was about two feet away, then he seemed to have enough with taunting seeing as it didn't do any good, and lunged at me. I was ready for him, every muscle straining to get this perfect, I enacted a perfect back flip , flipping him with my shoes just as he pounced on the area I had been, we were now face to face on the ground, knees bent, arms ready. Any movement he made I was confidant I could counter. Even if he was inhumanly fast and I beted. Inhumanly strong to. Maybe he was on roids. Or. He could be... no! I couldn't think like that right now. I might loose if I get scared and loose my cool and I couldn't aford for that to happen.

But I wasn't weak. Even if I looked and acted like it. I had trained since I was very little, in secret of course. My uncle had me trained since I was very little but no one knew but him and I. Not even my aunt.

So of course when mister roids growled inhumanly loud and tried to tackle me to the ground I was ready. I easily dodged his attack and rolled to the side, coming up on my knees hands at the ready.

We continued to do this, lung and dodge thing like a game of cat and mouse except the mouse was faster, barely. Until he messed up, and I saw my chance to attack back. He slipped while lunging and fell face first, I too this opportunity to slam my foot into the side of his face in a long sweeping motion, this earned a yelp from him followed by a loud growl.

Then he did something I didn't expect. His hand whipped out and snatched my ankle, gripping it painfully, he used it to pull me toward him as I tried to flip onto my side and deliver another blow but he saw it coming, then I realized he did this on porpoise! The smirk on his face confirmed it, he had pretended to mess up, in the hopes I would be a stupid human and try and hit back. The little bugger!

My vision came back slightly blurry as he pinned me,  he growled loudly, anger and ruthlessness glinted in his eyes as he stared at me, a smirk covering his face as he grinned wickedly in triumph.

I struggled as much as I could, using every trick I knew but I was so tired and he was to strong. He hit me hard across the head and use screamed. Pain exploding through me and I went limp, whimpering I opened my eyes and my vision decided to come come in full force just long enough to watch as his fist came down again. Then everything went dark. And I couldn't feel, or hear, or see, anything.
