A woman in pure black robes sneered wickedly as she placed a carrier with a young toddler strapped inside on the step of a small house. She knocked thrice on the old wooden door with a look of pure wicked joy on her face. This was it. They were going to find out what really happened to their Lord. For, there was no possible way he was defeated by a Filthy Mudblood and her family of Blood Traitors.

"Bellatrix, come here, you fool. He can't see you until he opens the door." Bartemius Crouch Jr said, pulling said woman back into a row of bushes where her husband, Rodolphus, and her brother-in-law, Rabastan Lestrange, were also hiding.

Bellatrix opened her mouth to speak, but turned quickly with a dark smile on her face as she heard the door open. A man with short dark curly hair stepped out of the house, looking around for who knocked. After not finding anyone, he looked down to see a small child in a carrier, looking up at him with silvery gray eyes and short black hair.

"Well, who are you?" The man asked, bending down to pick up the carrier, looking back as he heard his own child crying. "One moment, Neville." He tried to call back to his child as he looked back at the girl in the basket.

"Silencio!" Bellatrix said, her wand pointed at the man who was now unable to speak, jumping in joy as she gave away her position. Bartemius groaned in frustration, standing as well. The man, Frank Longbottom, widened his eyes as started to hastily- yet clumsily- fumble for his wand.

Rabastan pointed his straight black wand at the man as well. "Incarcerous!" He called, smirking evilly as thick ropes appeared from thin air and wrapped around Frank, tying his arms to his sides and his legs together. The man fell on his side and then down the stairs, dropping the carrier and the baby in the process.

The baby started crying at the impact, leaving Rodolphus to run to the girl and set her beside Bellatrix after casting the "Silencio" charm on her as well. The six waited in silence, listening to the cries of Neville. "No one else is home?" Bellatrix giggled, "How very disappointing." She called before walking up to Frank and placing a hand on his shoulder before they both disapparated with a loud crack, three cracks following as the three men followed her.

Only, they left something behind.

Alice Longbottom apparated into the small home, her mother-in-law at her side as they set down the bags they had just bought from the muggle shop. Alice furrowed her eyebrows in confusion as she didn't see her husband anywhere. The door was wide open and Neville was in his crib, crying.

"Alice, go check outside. Frank is probably just outside." Augusta Longbottom said, picking up the baby boy and shushing him whilst she rocked the baby. Neville continued to cry, however, not reliving any stress to the situation.

Alice walked outside, shivering in the slight wind. "Frank?!" She called, walking out of the house for a moment to get a better view. "Frank?" She called again, stopping abruptly as she saw a young toddler struggling to escape a carrier in their side-garden. She picked up the carrier carefully, knowing all to well who the child was. She had seen the girl all over The Daily Prophet.

The baby had tears running down her face and her lips were a light purple due to the cold. Her eyes were shut tightly as she tried to strain her vocal chords to cry, but no sound came out. Alice, being a smart witch, knew just about exactly what had happened to the girl.
