Today was the day. Friday afternoon 2035 the newest gaming tech was finally released worldwide with the new game specifically made for the new console called Elemental League. The console didn't have a specific name yet but they were goggles. They went over the eyes but accessed the brain allowing you to play. But today was Saturday, and I was finally unshackled from the chains of homework and studying. I had laid down on my bed and pulled the goggles over my eyes. I pressed the start button and my room disappeared. Instead I was in the game. There was a small tan brick plaza. Many other new players roamed the streets. I noticed a girl with goggles over her head and a neat outfit, standing and staring at me.
"Hello new player, what is your name?" She smiled at me. "I.. My name is Alto." I stuttered. She seemed to process it. Then nodded. "Welcome Alto. I am your guidance AI. But you may call me Altaria." She smiled again causing her to close her bright green eyes. I noticed other players with different AI's different gender ones different clothes ones.. But most looked the same. Not Altaria. She had long locks of brown hair, goggles on her head and a tomboy-ish outfit. Other female AI's wore more gender specific clothing and had short curled or highlighted hair. She then cut off my train of thought. "Alto are you ready to begin your adventure?" She asked holding out a hand. "Yes." I grabbed her hand and we were off.
