Through the screen

Once I had grasped Altaria's hand we were out of the plaza. Instead we were in a vast room. Inside waited a girl with soot on her face and her dress. Her hair was short and had a braid on the side.

"Welcome newcomer, have you come for your first weapon?" She asked kindly. Altaria took over. "Yes, he has." The girl looked back at me. "What is your class of choice?" Suddenly a screen appeared before me. It listed each class. 'Cleric, Mage, Archer, Lancer... Soldier.' I looked up. I selected soldier and pressed OK. The girl was now holding a sword. "Here you go soldier, enjoy your new sword." She handed me a blue sword outlined with glossy white on it. Altaria looked at me again. As she hovered she towered over me. She hovered in front of me once again. "Ready to go?" She held out her hand again. "Yes." I grabbed her hand and we were gone once more.

We were then outside. There was grass on the floor and the shiny blue sword in my hand. Altaria had a sword too. But much larger than mine. She smiled at me with confidence then faced forward. When the monsters spawned she shouted directions. She showed me examples, showed me moves and helped me fight. I started getting the hang of it till the last battle. "Alto! This is the hard part but you have to summon your equipped monster!" Altaria shouted. "BUT HOW?!" I shouted. I hadn't equipped a monster I had no way of knowing. "I've loaned you my water Valkyrie, just embrace its presence and try your best!" She shouted. She fended off the monsters attacks as I started. Suddenly I felt it. Like a force in my chest tunneling out. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth in pain. I felt something break free from my chest and I saw it. The water Valkyrie stood there tall and strong. She attacked fiercely sending the monster into low health, then Altaria's monster finished it off. The monsters were gone, and a screen appeared before me with all my rewards. Altaria trotted towards me. "Nice job." She said. She patted my head and held her hand out again. I grabbed it and we were gone.
