Jayy's P.O.V.
What does he want? I can't believe that he texted me. I can't tell Dahvie. He will flip out. My phone buzzed again.
Unknown Number: Jayy, baby. I'm sorry I love you. Will you take me back please? Pretty please.
Unknown Number: Jayy I'll be at one of your shows in California.
"Jayy are you okay? Whose texting you," Dahvie asked me sounding concerned.
"My ex Steven babe. It's noting to worry about," I replied with a smile on my face to reassure him. I gave him a kiss to make sure that it seems believable.
Dahvie can't know about this. At least not until we are closer to California. God, my nerves are going crazy. What if he does show up? What am I supposed to do then? Perhaps I should talk to Hailey. I will once Dahvie falls asleep.
Dahvie's P.O.V.
I pretended that I was asleep. I wanted to hear what Hailey and Jayy were going to talk about.
"Hailey, can I talk to you? It's important," I heard Jayy say.
"Sure," Hailey said in response.
"Hailey, he texted me. I'm freaking out," Jayy said as he emphasized the word he.
"What the fuck did he say," Hailey said sounding really shocked. I guess Jayy showed her the text. "Jayy we have to be careful. First Garrett and now him."
"Yeah I know. I'm not so much worried about me," Jayy said. I think that he's looking at me but I'm not sure.
"I know Jayy. I'll try to help with the -" Hailey was cut off by Jayy.
"He's waking up. We'll talk about it when we stop for gas," he said as I stirred to apparently wake up.
Jayy hugged and kissed me. He's acting like he hasn't seen me all day. I can't help but to wander who they were talking about. What's going on? I just want to know. Could they be talking about Daniel? No. Jayy said it was his ex Steven. Could he have been lying? I don't think that Jayy would lie to me. Would he? No. He's not like that.
"Dahvs. Is everything okay? I'm worried about you," Jayy asked me, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Yes. I'm fine Jayybear. I promise," with that I kissed him, then continued thinking. We all sat in a comfortable silence for the rest of the trip.
