Eli's P.O.V.
February 27th

It's been 2 days since Hannah ran away from me. I kept looking for her,but I couldn't find her. I was sitting on a tree branch,looking off in the distance. I shouldn't have asked about David. David hurt her and I will protect Hannah,but she ran away. I just want her to be safe. That's all I want.

Johannah's P.O.V

I was at Liv's grave. I ended up running here. I guessed my baby girl wanted her mother to be beside her. I just want her in my arms. I want her to be here,but life is difficult. I never want to see David again.

Flashback
Before the war started

"David, I have to tell you something" I said

"What is it?"He asked as he drank his beer

"I'm pregnant"I told him

It was only silence. He was staring at the t.v.

"When did you find out?"He asked me

"A week ago " I told him

He got up and walked over towards me. He grabbed my face and made me look at him.

"I want a boy " He told me and walked off

22 weeks pregnant
The war is starting

We were at the clinic. Today was the day,we were going to find out the gender. I was scare because what if the baby wasn't a boy. What would David do to me or the baby?

"Johannah Summers " I got up and followed the nurse

I got my weight,height,and blood pressure check. She led us to a room and we waited for the doctor. I looked over at David. He was on his phone. He looked up and glared at me,I looked away from him. Minutes past and the doctor finally came in.

"Good afternoon " Dr.Rickman said

"Good afternoon " I replied back

"How are you today,Johannah?"He asked

"I'm doing fine. You?"I said

"The same. Are your excited to find out the gender? " He asked

"Yes"

"I need you to lay down and raise your stomach " He told me

I followed his instructions. He placed the gel on my stomach. I still get cold by the gel. He started to move around my stomach with the transducer. I could hear the heartbeat.

"Here's the baby's body" Dr.Rickman said

I smiled at the screen. I looked over at David and he was staring at the screen.

"What's the gender?"David asked him

"Eager to find out the gender,aren't we?"Dr.Rickman said

"Yes I am " David told me,serious

"Congratulations to your baby girl " He said,smiling

A baby girl. I looked over at David and he was glaring at me.

Later that day

"David,s-stop" I cried out as I covered my stomach

"You were supposed to give me a boy!"He yelled at me as he stepped on my leg

I cried out in pain. How could he do this to me. I'm pregnant with his child.

"P-please Stop"I cried out

"Not until I killed that baby inside of you"He told me

"Please don't " I begged

"I love it when you beg" He told me,smiling

"I'll do anything to keep her alive " I told him

"Anything?"He said

"Yes"

"Get up " He told me

I tried getting up,but I couldn't. He picked me up bridal style. I laid my head on his chest and fell asleep.

The next thing you know,I woke up in a cabin. I was by myself. I looked for David,but he wasn't here. That's when I realize,he left me because of our baby.

Present Time

Now when I think back to it. Maybe he was protecting me and our baby. I will never know because of the war and I'm lost in the forest.

"Johannah! " I heard Eli yell out

Shit! He found me. I got up and was about to run until I heard him scream. Was he hurt? Or is he scared? Shit,I'm going to go check on him. I walked towards the scream and my eyes widened when I saw Eli drenched in water.

"Just fucking great. It's still winter and now I'm drench in water."He said as he took his shirt off

I know I should look away,but he was stripping right in front me and he was hot. He took his pants off too. Damn he looks fine, better then David. What am I thinking?! He turned around and I got a good look at his ass. He has a nice ass. Stop thinking like that,Johannah! I walked closer towards him. I don't know what the hell I'm doing. When I was behind him,I wrapped my arms around him.

"What the hell!"Eli said

"It's only me"I told him

"Johannah?"He said

"It's me"I told him

He turned around and faced me.

"I've been looking for you" He told me

"I can see " I told him,looking at his body

I looked away when he caught me looking.

"I like it when you blush " He told me

I started to blush even more

"Be quiet. And you need new clothes " I told him

"No shit,Captain obvious " He told me

"Then let's go back to our site " I told him as I dragged him towards the site

Why am I acting normal around him? Why wasn't I scared? Do I like him? No,I can't. He might become like David. Who's sweet at the beginning and then becomes violent at the end.
