Kylo's P.O.V

The curiosity is overwhelming, and almost painful. I have no idea why, but her actions intrigue me. Not just her escape, or her choice to be found, but her graceful movements and her persuasive speech.

Initially, I tense in preparation for an attack, but I soon decide that I want to hear what she has to say.

As the door slides shut behind me, I flick my wrist out of her line of sight, locking her in so she won't escape... again.

"Now... I heard you and your friends are searching for something, or perhaps a someone? I came to you, believe it or not, to help you do just that." She says, her voice like honey.

Pixel's P.O.V

I could sense the mood change, his desire to listen. He was a curious creature, that was for sure. His eyes caught a glint of light at my words.

Hope.

"And why would you do that, one might ask?" He says, his voice low.

Another feeling bubbled inside of him.

Mistrust.

"One might answer, because I am looking for that very same person." I purred to him.

This caught him by surprise.

I took another step forward, so we were almost chest to chest, and I let a look of desire cross my face. A wall behind his eyes suddenly jumped up.

He knew what I was trying, and he was going to avoid it. But I'm much more skilled at this than he may imagine. Besides, I only needed one thing before it got too far.

"For what reason?" He demanded.

I laughed, a noise that was meant to seduce. His wall shifted ever so slightly. It was working.

"If I asked you for your reason, would you answer me?" I deflected the question easily.

I raised my hand to my chest as I said 'me' and tilted forward in a way that made sure my shirt hung low. Kylo's eyes flickered down, but when they returned to my face, he looked hurt.

An image flashed in my head.

**

"You thought I liked you? Huh! I thought you were smarter than that." A young girl of about 8 was smirking at a young Kylo.

**

It was a tiny memory, one that was probably further from Kylo's mind at the moment than anything, but it had still hurt him, and had made him wary. And it was also mine now.

"Stop." Kylo demanded, a fake look of disgust on his face.

But I could see underneath it. He wanted so badly to be loved, but he wanted so badly to be feared. He was conflicted, and found it easier to avoid these situations.

Well, that was about to change.

I could feel his thoughts, just out reach of my own. There was one in particular that I wanted, and it was close.

"But you don't want me to." I was whispering now. "I can be very persuasive at times..." I lifted my hand to his cheek, only just brushing it with my fingertips.

His eyes fluttered, but he remained strong.

My face was only millimeters from his. My breath, I could see from his tense jaw, was tickling his chin.

"And you don't even have the strength to pull away." I finished.

This broke him in at last. The memory I wanted came free. It was mine for the taking.

The memory I wanted was his deepest regret.

**

"BEN!" The man had a husky voice, and silver hair.

"Han Solo. I've been waiting for this day for a long time." Kylo told him.

"Take off that mask. You don't need it." Han said.

"What do you think you'll see if I do?"

"The face of my son."

**

Well, that was unexpected.

The scene skipped forward.

**

"W-will you help me?" Kylo croaked to Han, who was closer now.

**

Another skip.

**

Han's hand brushing Kylo's cheek before he slowly tilts to one side. I see the tip of Kylo's saber poking out of Han's spine before he topples over the edges of the bridge.

A look of pure mental and physical pain crossing Kylo's face.

**

Before I could see anything more, the effects of the memory stealing that I call Thought Theft takes over, and a haze covers my vision. I see Kylo's blurred figure stumble before collapsing.

But not even exhaustion can overcome my feeling of success. I hold something that is very dear to Kylo, and now I will be able to get whatever I want from the First Order.
