Mickey stood looking at the mirror. Footsteps sounded behind him. Mickey turned around to see Oswald and Ortensia hand in hand. Oswald walked forward towards Mickey. None of them spoke. The brothers looked eye to eye. They hugged each other as if saying farewell. When the two looked up, they both shed a tear. Mickey turned towards the mirror and painted it. The mirror shook and shimmered like before. Oswald looked at Ortensia. Then looked at his children. All 420 were waiting to leave. Oswald walked forward first. He turned around to face Mickey. He then was the first to speak. “ I'll miss you Mick. We'll see you sometime soon..” Mickey smiled at Oswald. Oswald Junior the 52nd walked behind Mickey and hugged his leg. “ We'll miss you mister Mickey." Mickey patted his head. Ortensia kissed Mickey on the cheek on her way towards the mirror. Oswald and Ortensia rejoined hands and walked through the mirror and walked into the entrance to Mean Street.
