Falling down onto her knees,
Placing herself on the floor with unease,
She held her head in her hands,
Causing the fall on her face of the hair strands.
The tears kept seeping,
with the burden of her shoulders, heaping.

She was an angel,
Who could fly only when loved.
So beautifully graceful,
But she was only crushed and in the ground, shoved.
They used her, cheated her innocence,
Wrecked her like the broken strings of the instruments.
They cut off her wings,
Threw her away and left her all alone.

She was hoping but she was scared,
Scared of the darkness they threw her in,
Scared of the darkness that was ahead of her,
Scared of the darkness that was taking over her,
Scared of the darkness that was bringing out her inner demons,
Just scared of the darkness...

Slowly crawling towards the light,
Towards that one last hope,
One hope that could set everything right,
One hope that was full of scope.
But it kicked her off,
And she was thrown again to fall on her knees,
As if there were no laws.

And there she was trapped for ever in the darkness,
The darkness that she was always scared of,
The darkness that was so willing to take over her,
The darkness she didn't wanna see,
The darkness that she was escaping from,
But now, they were all alone,
Darkness and her,
The darkness from which she was unknown.
