Darkness

I was surrounded by darkness, all alone. I could see myself, but it was like a void. Darkness. I tried going back to the past, but my powers didn't work. I did what I knew I could do, I sat down and cried.

The one who will wishes
The one who keeps

Shall be overcome with greed
A girl just at the age fifteen

Beware this girl
Who has the powers

Of greatness that can raze the hours

She will decide what's wrong and right
Which path to take to evil's spite

The prophecy was about me. That made me cry harder. I then heard a voice, it sounded so far away, yet so close by. It was a raspy, ancient male voice.
"Emma. You have done it my pawn! Now, I can destroy the humans, rise the dead, and take over the earth!" It said. I mustered up the courage to speak and said,
"W-who are you?"
"Why, I am the almighty Onos, rightful owner of the Earth!" The voice, or Onos, boomed. I then saw him.
He had a pale, triangular face. He was skinny, tall, and wore all black. His smile was sly and crooked. But his eyes were the bad part. They were glowing, and, really, not even real looking eyes. They were pure black. Not just the pupils, but the sclera too.
"Give me the book" he said, slowly walking towards me. I hadn't realized I had the book, it was in my right arm.
"No." I whispered, scared for my life.
"He cocked an eyebrow and said,
"What?"
"No." I said, a bit louder. I then tried wishing him away, but it didn't work.
"The book's powers does not work here." He smirked. I was doomed!

.........................................................Did I just write that? Usually I'm better at love stories... I should do this more often!

Also, Onos is completely made up. I don't know how I came up with that name. Also, a sclera is the white part of your eye.
