~~~ Frozen Lake ~~~
(Poem taken from "Enchanting Winter" poetry book, by Nina Harling.)
The tree branches are dead,
Something is sparkling through the clearing up ahead.
A frozen lake of ice awaits,
Melts your gaze.
Is this frozen lake safe?
We could ice skate,
Or maybe stay up till late.
When the moonlight beams onto the lake,
Diamonds appear you cannot grab or take,
Flickering and bouncing, they look real, not fake.
