The cool autumn wind stirred her hair as Diana sat restlessly on the bench. She was so excited and was impatiently trying to wait for the bus. After 16 months of hard training they where finally sending her to savachel to fight in the amaroden war. Her dad the king had cried for days begging her not to go. It was the first time she had ever seen her dad cry and for it she resented him for being weak. When the bus finally came around the corner she jumped up. Her fellow soldiers sitting beside her did the same thing. Many of the men at first used to moke her saying she was no soldier ,but when she got to do hand to hand combat she beat all the boys. Soon after they realized she was not one to moke. When the bus pulled up to them she calmly walked up the stairs and sat on one of the chairs. The air in bus smelt slightly of dust and grim. The suits they made everyone wear where uncomfortable and very tight. She knew that no one was playing around anymore so when the bus moved she said nothing and just screamed in her head.

Diana was strangely fascinated as the bus moved along and she ended up staring at everything outside. She loved to look at the mountains she had the eye of an artist she saw every rocky edge every little curve. The world had more meaning than anyone ever noticed except for Diana. She reached into her bag and grabbed her sketch book. When she had finished her drawing she had the odd that someone was watching her ,and sure enough she looked up and saw one of the soldiers leaning over the edge of her seat to look at her sketchpad. "Can I help you"she asked coldly. "Why yes you can I would like know what your name is"said the soldier. Diana just smiled he wasn't from there training area. He was about 6:2 he had ashy blonde hair. His eyes where a clear crystal blue and smile was crooked like he knew something she didn't. "I'm Diana and who might you be?" "Im Brian I'm from area x oh and by the way I like your drawing." Then he left Diana sitting there confused about why someone from the top trading facility in the world was going to there small military base. She was still thinking about it when Jace came to sit by her. He was one of her best friends and she was happy she could talk to him cause she really hated silence. The silence that always seemed to follow her disappeared when he came around. She finally heard the faithful sound of the bus screeching to a stop and when she looked outside she saw the small tents the forest was behind them and she knew that the training center. The newbies where in the back of the line and they were probably going to have some fights to see who would be moving up in the ranks and Diana was determined to be one of them to move up. As she exited she could her jace behind her talking to him self nonstop like he tended to do when he was excited. The camp smelled of presperation and the mist was setting in making the tents seem to float in the air. A man made his way towards them he was very tall he had a slight limp in his right leg and his eyes were a misty blue. Diana was instructed to a flat land where he said they could set up there tents.

Once they had all set up there tents they all went to the big campfire where they would all meet each other and Diana couldn't help hoping that Brian would be there. He was from area x the best training camp in the world but he was sent to the back lines. She soon forgot about him though when she saw everyone. Her group immediately spread out going to different people trying to identify everyone they would be fighting with. Diana decided to go sit near the fire since she really was not one for ideal chit chat when they where at war. Suddenly someone came up to her he was about medium sized he had short Carmel hair that hung in his eyes. His eyes where an unusual green and tinted with gold. He came and sat beside her and said "I don't think we've met I'm Alex." "Hi I'm Diana." She replied. "Wait your the kings daughter I thought you would of backed out by know now I owe Joe $30." "Sorry to disappoint",she answered but she was still just looking at the fire already bored with the conversation. After that Alex left her alone while everyone else just stared at her. She knew she should of expected this but she really hated how useless people thought she was. After a few minutes the guy who had lead them to there campsite came up in front of the fire and told everyone to listen. He said that he was going to tell them there sparing partners today. Sparing was one of Diana's favorite things because she finally got to show everyone she was not weak. She had always been a natural fighter and she loved the adrenaline not to mention it was the only time her father allowed her to use her still tipped wings she still remembers how she got them.
