Simple Beings

Chapter 2~

As the pod silently descended through space, the small body that slept inside shook from side to side violently, yet the resting body was not bothered by the sudden forceful jerks.

As the pod traveled about, searching for its destination,it began to slowly heat up as it entered the unknown planet's atmosphere.The body resting inside slowly began to perspire. Its body heat began to rise, and at an alarming rate too.

Once the pod had decided where specifically it would land, the rate it traveled at increased into an unimaginable speed.Thus causing the person inside to jerk from side to side again, with an immense amount of force.

As the pod crashed, three fellow adventurers nearby heard the sudden boom that was caused from the sudden impact.The ear piercing sound it gave off rang through their ears.All of them held their ears, as their ears pounded and sent an unimaginable pain through them.

Once the pain slowly faded away, they uncovered them and stared at each other, confused and shocked by what just happened.

"W-what exactly was that?!"

"I don't know...do you think we should check it out...?"

They looked at each other again for a moment before finally agreeing.They quickly made their way to the disaster.What they found was obscure.

The pod being badly damaged, no longer looked like a pod. It had huge dents here and there, its screen had been cracked, some parts missing. The symbol that represented the kingdom was now distorted. What they found resting inside unsettled them the most.

"A PERSON?!"

One hissed at the other.

"Shut up! What if they're dangerous?! You could've just woken them up! Be quiet okay?!"

"What if they're injured, shouldn't we help them...?"

The others stared at the person who had just made the comment.

"Hm...you're right...maybe we should take them back to our place..."

One adventurer approached the pod and finally retrieved the person from inside after a few minutes of struggling.

Once they had the body in their possession, they quickly rushed home, a bit excited about what they just discovered.

Once they reached their destination, they quickly tidied up a room for their new and unexpected "guest". They placed their unconscious guest in the decent sized bed and placed a cold, moist rag on her forehead once they realized that her temperature was extremely high. They cleaned the wounds the sudden crash had caused and took what was left of her clothes off. Leaving her to rest with nothing but a rag on her forehead.
