Chapter 6~

"L-echktu?"

He nodded at her with a small smile on his lips.

"And yours may be...?"

She hesitated a bit before sighing and looking at him straight in the eyes.

"Hysteria...I know...it's a ridiculous name...but my mother thought it suited me best, better than the other names they thought of, if I'm being completely honest."

He chuckled at this.

"What a lovely name...and it does suit you, a lovely name that comes with a lovely woman."

Hysteria's cheeks quickly grew a rosy red. Had he really just said that to her?

"You h-have quiet a unique name yourself..."

"Why thank you...and what exactly were the other choices?"

"Huh? Oh...um...Magnolia and Lullay..."

"Oh my, those would've suited you just as well."

"Thanks, I suppose."

Suddenly, their conversation was interrupted by the sudden loud collision of the wall and the bedroom door being slammed open.

"HEY IT'S YOUR-"

One of the fellow adventurers stared at Hysteria with wide eyes. Their mouth was agape.

"Y-you're...YOU'RE AWAKE?!"

They rushed at her and hugged her tightly.

"Oh yes! I thought you were dead or something!"

Hysteria sat there, stunned by their sudden gesture. Lechktu didn't seem to be very fond of this, he glared down at them.

"Nyexe, I don't think they're very comfortable with you touching them like that, especially so suddenly."

They quickly backed away and gave Hysteria a weary, awkward smile.

"I'm really really s-sorry!"

"Ah, it's okay...really."

"The names Nyexe by the way!What's your name?"

"Um, Hysteria..."

"It's nice to finally meet yo-Well talk to you actually."

"Is it just you two?"

"No, there's another, sadly...just wait for it."

Quick footsteps were rushing down the hallway and a figure popped out, arms crossed and tapping their foot impatiently.

"You guys just left me!"

They had the same reaction Nyexe had once they saw Hysteria.

"Hello."

Hysteria waved at him so unbothered by his sudden appearance. He waved backed, still stunned by this.

"H-hi...?"

"The name's Hysteria, what may yours be?"

"A-ah...G-galios...it's nice to meet you..."

Galios quickly ran off, his heart pounded in his chest with full force, it felt like it could burst at any moment. He rushed into his room and leaned against one of the walls and held his head, panting. The image of her soft black and white eyes staring back at him, her soft red pillowy lips smiling at him, her soft pale, fair skin, the only color being the black big dots on her cheeks. He bit his bottom lip softly, as her image kept running through his head, along with her soft, velvety voice echoing throughout it,

'Could it really be true...Is it really her?'
