"Okay if I win I get to kiss you again and if you win I buy your favorite food and carry your books for a week." He says a little bit too confident. "Bring it bruh."
We play for hours and not surprising I win. We sit on the couch and are holding hands. Ever is tingling and just out of no where I realize what danger I put him in. He can't like or love me we have to stay where we were. If we stay together then... then they will hurt him. I can't let that happen. I can't. They can't hurt my family! I feel my mind going crazy like I'm going to pass out. Everything is going black. My heart is thumping out of my chest. I drop his hand like its lava and run to make sure everything is locked and safe. I check the streets and make sure their not watching. Dylan's been trying to get my attention for a while I guess. "Leah what's going on?" He yells. "Nothing, every..." "Just tell me you can trust me." he says trying to purslane me to do it. But I can't. I can't I won't put him in any more danger than he is. "I can't." "Why not?" he says. "I just can't okay! I won't let him hurt you too!" I realize what I said and slap a hand over my mouth. "Who is hurting you Leah?" I bow my head so I don't have to look at his eyes. I hear his foot steps. "Leah? Who is hurting you?" His voice is a little more stern but you can still hear the sadness. "No one." I say my head still down. He can't know. He knows to much already. "I'm not going to let whoever this bastard is hurt you anymore now tell me who it is!" "I just can't okay! I'm not gonna let him hurt you too!" "Why?" "Because I don't like seeing the people I love or like get hurt!" "That doesn't explain why you can't tell me!" "He said he would kill me if I told anyone who he is!" I scream. "What?" "I've been getting letters saying someone's going to kill me of I told anyone what actually happened." "What happened?" "The car accident that killed my family wasn't exactly an accident."
