"Wow! This place is huge!" Yui exclaimed.
They were in front of a large mansion with several pathways toward the garden. Flowers covered every inch of the property, including the Victorian style home. A short wall stood in front of the mansion with a small staircase on the side, guiding them to the door. And a wooden bench lied plainly near the entrance, next to a marble fountain with white roses.
"Indeed it is." Lyra chuckles, reading her book from her wheelchair.o
"Do you need help taking with the luggage, Miss?" Ruan ask, bringing out their bags from the car.
Yui shook her head. "We'll be fine! I can carry the load for Onee-San and I."
"Is that so?" The brunet ask, amused. "Well then, I'll be off now. Enjoy your stay, Misses." He hopped back into the car and drove away, leaving the two girls in front of the gate.
"Do you need some help, Yuu-chan?" Lyra ask, using the embarrassing, yet endearing nickname.
Yui grew slightly flustered but simply shook her head and began carrying their suitcases.
"It's okay, Onee-San. You just need to worry about yourself. I can walk, so I will do the carrying."
Lyra laughs softly and nodded, pushing her wheel toward the front door as Yui prattled along with ease. They both approach the fancy silver gate and Yui knocks on the door.
"I hope they're nice." She says excitedly, pounding on the metal hinge.
Suddenly, the large wooden door creaked open slightly, sending a small shiver down her spine.
"Ara, ara?" Lyra asked with interest, beginning to push herself inside with Yui stood stiff with a grimace.
Come on, Onee-San! Doesn't any of this seem creepy to you?! Well, I did dismiss her from helping...
Sighing mentally, Yui followed Lyra into the house and closed the door behind them, placing their suitcases neatly to the side.
The mansion was big and dark. The only light in the foyer consist of a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling and dozens of lit candles on the claret colored walls.
Seriously, have they ever heard of a lightbulb? Yui thought.
All the windows were shut tightly and covered by black curtains. A dark grand staircase laid on the other side of the room, alit by ominous green candles. A few feet away, a dark purple couch stood in the middle with a figure lying on it.
The two sister looked at each other, one with amusement while the other, perplexed.
Yui left Lyra's side and walk cautiously over to the couch.
A teenage boy slept quietly, looking stuff and unmoving.
He wore a white dress shirt and a black blazer with a red tie hanging loosely around his neck like a scarf and a black blazer. His hair was short and red, looking purposely messy as it paired with his soft features. All in all, Yui could admit that the dude was handsome.
Alas, not every pretty face can attract her attention. She grew up with Lyra, the epitome of beauty and all that is holy.
The younger sister practically worshipped the ground in which Lyra was seat.
Some may call her beahavior to be a sister-complex...
Yui shook roughly without a care.
"Oi! Wake up! You're guest has arrived!" She held with no politeness whatsoever.
