Chapter 38

'W-what?' I saw Vilu standing with an open mouth.

I ended the call with German quickly.

'Vilu... I can explain...' I stuttered.

'What do you wanna explain Luciana? Or shall I say, Angie!?' She yelled.

'Shh.. Vilu... I'm so sorry... I just missed you so much... and as someone else I could be happy again, without all the troubles I caused.' I said.

'Angie, don't you see that by what you're doing now is hurting people more than you ever did?' Vilu said.

'I know, I kno...-'

'No you don't know! Otherwise you wouldn't be doing this... and by the way, I still hate you for leaving us, for leaving me.' She said as she walked inside.

It broke my heart hearing what she said. It made me tear up.
Just then German appeared.

'Lucia! Hi! Guess what? Angie forgave me!' He beamed.

I didn't want to ruin his good mode so I played along.

'That's great!' I said smiling whilest my eyes were getting heavy of tears.

'Lucia, are you okay?' He asked placing his hand on my arm.

'No, no I'm not okay.' I said whilest hugging him tighly.

When we broke he asked me what happened.

I can't just tell him the whole truth...

'Erm.. my boyfriend broke up with me... yeh..' I said.

He looked happy when I said that but he acted well.

'Ah.. that awful... can I get you something? A glass of water maybe?' He asked.

'No thanks, another hug would be nice though...' I said.

He wrapped his arms firmly around my whilest caressing my back softly.
Honestly, it calmed me down.
