As I was sitting in my hospital bed, German layed his hand on my leg.
'Angie, I'm so sorry...' he said.
'Don't worry, I guess I overreacted a bit..' I said with a chuckle.
He sighed in relief.
'Thank god, you're not mad anymore.' He said.
'I can never stay mad at you long.' I said stroking his cheek.
'So, how are you doing? Is your stomache any better?' He asked.
'Not really... It keeps on giving me shocks of pain and after a minute or two, they're gone.' I said.
'Ay.. Angie? Do you think something's wrong with the baby?' He asked.
'I don't know... let's just hope not..' I said.
'Yeh.. It's probably just a flue or something.' He said.
'Yeh I guess so..' I said.
Then the doctor walked in.
'Miss, mr. I've got some bad news for you.' He said.
'What is it, doctor?' German asked.
'You were having a baby?' The doctor asked.
'Yes, we are.' I said trying not to become nervous.
He said "were"...
'I'm really sorry to tell you that, you're baby, sadly didn't make it. I'm sorry...'
