Chapter 1

DAY 1

Yani, a freshmen BS TOURISM at Philippine Women's University was so haggard because it is her first day of her college life but still there she is standing and not knowing where should she go. She was so pissed but then she calmed herself and gather her guts to ask someone for directions so that she can attend her classes already. That exact time when Yani gathered her guts and ask someone James, an irregular BS HRM pass by and then Yani approached him without hesitating and without thinking that she is asking a guy.

"Excuse me" Yani said

"Yes?" James answered

"Do you know where is the room T-405?" Yani replied

"Yes actually I am about to go there wanna come with me?" James answered

"Well yes by the way my name is Yani and thank you"

"No problem by the way my name is James"

After that they went upstairs and go to their room. While they are walking Yani was really eager to ask James if he is also a tourism student but then she is so shy and she thought that it is the best for them if she will be quiet and continue walking but James cracked their silence and ask Yani.

"Are you a tourism student?"

"Yes how about you?" Yani replied

"No I'm taking up HRM and I am an irregular student" James replied

"Oh I see well there is our room let's go before we became so late" Yani said

"Yes great idea" James replied

When James and Yani entered the room, they are both relieved with the thought that their professor is not yet there. They are waiting for 10 minutes when their professor entered the room and greet them.

"Good morning class sorry I am late" the professor said

"Good morning Ma'am" the class replied

"Please seat down so before anything else I'm Professor Zeny Santos but you can call me Ma'am Zeny I am aware that all of you are still new students so I suggest that all of us should introduce our selves so let's start with you miss"

The professor was pointing at Yani.

"Me? Ma'am? Yani said

"Yes you are my dear better start to introduce your self because we have a lot of stuffs to tackle for today" Ma'am Zeny replied

"Well ok Ma'am My name is Yani Del Carmen, 16 years old and I live in Makati City, I have a brother and my dad is an engineer and my mom is a interior designer, that's all" Yani said while facing all her classmates and her professor

"Thank you Miss Del Carmen next please"

"Hi good morning everyone my name is James Martinez 18 years old, only child and my dad is a doctor while my mom is a nurse that's all thank you" James replied

"Thank you Mister Martinez next please"

After the whole class introduced their selves their professor told them their requirements for the whole semester.

"Class I want you to have a 1/4 index card for you class standing to be pass next meeting and be ready for our next meeting because we are going to start our lessons that's all you may go" Ma'am Zeny said

After their class, Yani went to canteen to eat and went straight to the library while waiting for her next class while James went to the gym for his training because he is a futsal player.

When Yani is already in the library and started to read the book that she bought in the bookstore last time, and while reading it she is thinking of James. Yani thinks it is funny because they only met but he already made her world turn up side down with his smile. Yani tried to concentrate on the book but she is still distracted and then she went to her next class when she saw that it was almost time for her to go.

In every subjects that Yani had attended that day, She always introduce herself and because of that she met new friends that is also a regular tourism student and in her same section as well. When they are in their last subject that day, Yani hoped that she can see James before she go home but sadly she didn't have a chance to see him because he went somewhere that even her new found friends don't know.
