As the others were asleep I sat on the window ledge outside the bedrooms. Staring into the darkness. Suddenly a hand touched my shoulder. I quickly turned my head, to see Zander standing there.
"Can't sleep either." He confessed sitting down next to me. I continued to stare out the window, but I could see from the side of my eye that he was looking at me. Not creepy at all. I looked over at him, as he looked away his cheeks blushing in a sort of cute way.
"Sorry." He apologised.
After a few awkward moments,
"It's great, isn't it?" He spoke quietly his voice almost in a whisper.
"Yeah." I replied starring outside.
"It's amazing how much is out there." He added looking up at me. His eyes meeting mine. I never noticed how nice his eyes were. The moment lasted for what felt like forever. It felt like time had stopped. I stared into those blue eyes...getting lost, NO! What is wrong with me? I quickly got up.
"I'm gonna go now." I said leaving.
"Goodnight." I heard as I walked into my room.
As I sat on my bed, my mind full of thoughts. What have I got myself into?
