I groaned as I was rudely awakened by my Mum screaming. I dragged myself out of my extremely uncomfortable bed, and groggily walked down the creaking stairs. The sunlight blared in through the frayed curtains. Jesus, what time is it? I went into the kitchen to see what the commotion was about, as I walked in, Mum stared at me with icy cold eyes, I knew this wasn't going to be good. "You, you fucking bitch. What in God's name have you done?" she screamed. I honestly had no clue what she was on about, I questioned her, wanting to know the answer myself, trying to stay calm myself not wanting to make the situation worse, but it seemed to have actually made it worse. "WHY DID YOU CLEAN UP??? DID I ASK YOU TO CLEAN UP??" she bellowed. I said that I only wanted to help. Her reply was "Did I ask for your help? You're always trying to be perfect, always trying, trying, trying. TRYING TOO GOD DAMN HARD!" I wish I'd just left her there to choke on her own vomit. Damn how I really hated her. Who is she to tell me that I'm trying to hard? The next thing I said I instantly regretted. "WELL AT LEAST I DID ACTUALLY HELP YOU, AT LEAST I DO TRY HARD SO THAT I DO NOT END UP LIKE YOU." She gasped in astonishment, she took one step back, and I knew to wait for the fearful blow. I was correct. About two seconds later I felt the forceful smash of her fist against my jaw, i staggered back and hit my head hard onto the cupboard, my head was still really sore from where I'd smashed my head the other day. Neither of us did anything for a few seconds, until I felt something move in my mouth. I put my fingers in my mouth to find out she'd knocked one of my back teeth out. I spat it out onto the floor, and Mum screamed at me to get upstairs.
