Marcus Butler : We're outside

You were at the park, having a small break from the stressful life as a collage student in a foreign land. Brighton to be exact and you don't know much people from there, so you were relaxing alone.

You're iPhone was off so no one could disturb you. You've even picked the part of the park where there was no chance that people would go to. That's how much you need to be by yourself.

As you watch the clouds slowly passing by, the leaves moving around, you felt your eyes slowly becoming heavier and blinking ever so slowly. You were almost asleep but a voice of a man slowly becoming louder every step he took closer to you woke you up again.

"Darn it! My perfect spot, ruined." You whispered.

"Is there someone there?" Looks like he heard you. He's voice being awkwardly familiar.

You didn't replied. Why would you? It was a stranger and you don't really need to communicate with him.

"Ok! If there's someone there, I'm still making a video here." He said. This time it sounded like he was right next to you.

After a short moment, you heard something rest behind the tree you were once resting against on.

"Hellooow!" He greeted. And then it finally hit you!

"Have you ever noticed..."

*Yawn* you yawned to make him realize you were there, but to make it look that you just woke up.

"Oh, my, there's someone near me." He said "Hello? Where are you?"

You tapped him from the shoulder, making him yell in surprise.

"I'm here." You saw him turning his camera off as he replied.

"So sorry if I disturb you."

"Oh. no worries. I'm (yn) by the way." You introduced.

"Hi. I'm Marcus." He says as he shakes your hand. "So, is it fine if I make a video here?"

"Oh. It's ok." You said.

"No it's fine with me to find another place where I can film."

"No no. It's fine. Actually, I'm a subscriber." You admitted "I really want to see you outside my screen, well if it's fine with you."

He smiles again and said "Its fine with me."

You sat in front of him, behind the camera waiting for him to do his thing. But after a couple of tries speaking, Marcus remained mind boggled and said

"I'm not in the mood to make a video anymore."

Feeling that it was your fault you apologized "Oh my goodness, Is it because of me. I'm so sorry. I should leave now."

Standing up. He grabs your hand and gently forced you to sit next to him. "We'll actually it is because of you. But in a good way."

"What do you mean?" "

Ummmm... I can't make a video now because I want to spend my spare time with you..." He said, a bit shy and embarrassed.

You laughed lightly "Uhhh.. What?"

"I know it sound s so random. But we should hang out." Marcus suggested.

"I don't know what to say? But I think it's a good idea." You said.

Marcus gave you another smile and stand up.He gave you a hand to support you and he gently pulls you up. While he was holding your hand he insisted that you should talk while taking a little stroll around the park.

"So, what are you doing here? You don't sound like you're from here." He asked.

"I go to University." You answered "And I'm from (home land)

"Is it good there?" He asked.

You answered "Well, some parts, yes. Yes. It's pretty cool."

He was about to ask you another question, but when he saw the play ground, his eyes twinkled with excitement. "You might think it's a bit childish and crazy, but would you like to play with me?"

"It sounds great!' You said. Not long enough you found yourselves playing around. Hanging around the jungle jim, having fun as he push you along the swing, Gliding on the slides and jumping up and down while facing Marcus on the see-saw. Laughter and cheers surrounded you both as you have a good time with each other.

Stress was no longer in your system, it felt better than having a nap under a tree. And you could totally see that Marcus was enjoying the moment that he's sharing with you. When you felt a little hungry, he bought you ice cream and decided that it was time to have a break time!

"That was fun isn't it?" HE said.

"It was. I never had that so much fun since I could remember." You replied.

He started laughing out of no where and it was contagious, you began to laugh and laugh until people started to look at you. But you were having so much fun that you didn't cared. Hours passed and you found yourselves in front of your dorm. He decided to drive you home since it was safer. What a gentleman!

"Well thanks for the great day!" He said in gratitude.

You smiled and replied "No. Thanks to you. I wouldn't have enjoyed if I was alone."

"You're welcome then. Always." He said.

You saw him swallow, a sign of nervousness, and he said "Umm. Can I have your number?"

"Sure thing." You said and gave him a copy of your number.

"Thanks!" He said with a the cutest smirk ever.

Before he hops inside the car, he gave you a quick kiss on the lips and didn't gave you a chance to react. His car drive off with him saying "See you soon!" And there you were, looking like a fool standing outside the dorm, with a stupid smile. In love?
