Change...(Chapter 3)

The day passed with a rush including the disowned plans and gossiping all around the place."Hey dork.Can you drop me?",Ethan requested "Sure thing get in" I replied shoving my bag in the back seat and getting in the driver's seat,Ethan along in the passenger seat. I started the engine and Ethan turned on the music choosing a good track.I started speeding the car down the road,loud music playing."So what have you planned for the party?"

"What am I suppose to plan?" I asked furrowing my brows,concentrating on the road in front of me.

"I mean what are you gonna wear?If you're going to bring Laura along with you vice versa..."

"I have an entire day to think about this stuff" I stated. "Right though",Ethan said drifting away to silence. Now the only thing that I could hear was the music but I determined to break the silence,"So how's Sonnet?". Sonnet is Ethan's girlfriend who seems nice and loving but I still hate her and that's what I'm supposed to do. Hate each and everyone especially my friend's girls. "I broke up with her",Ethan said feeling 'not so good' . Yess!!  I thought to myself smiling like a goof,well I shouldn't at the moment but Satan chose me.

"It's alright man she wasn't worth it I'm sure you deserve a precious one",I said trying to comfort him.

 "Yah,probably". I stopped the car In front of Ethan's place. Ethan got off the car and waved me with a bye,I raised my hand to wave him and drove down the road to reach my destination.

I parked my car in the garage and proceeded towards my house. I knocked the door a couple of times but not a single response. I took out the key and opened the door, the entire place was filled with unmixed silence and stale air. I threw my bag on the floor being the unorganized one and went to the kitchen. I saw a note stuck to the fridge and read it. your father and I are out for some business work,will reach by tomorrow morning.Take care of yourself and Laura, much love.Mom. I sighed and opened the fridge to grab some food to satisfy my hunger. Wait...Where's Laura? She was supposed to come before me.

I took out my phone and called Laura. I don't know where this girl is, "Hello?".

"Where are you?" I asked in a dubious tone.

"None of your business"

"Well I suppose It's not mine but I have some orders"

"From whom?"

"Mom. Now get home as fast as possible or else you'll face the worst".

"Alright",I could hear the exasperation from the other side but I couldn't care less.I hung the phone and took out some leftover from last night. I heated the food and Placed it on the table, I sat down and as I was about to take my first bite I felt the phone vibrating in my pocket. I groaned in disappointment and somehow managed to answer the call, "What now?!". "Yo It's me Olivia". Unexpected call at the moment. "What do you want?",I asked in a serious tone

"Can you bring that DVD with you?"

"Which one?", I asked

"The one with the recent playlist".

"Alright,will get it.Now bye". "But-",before she could say something I hung the phone'cause I know she'll start gossiping about random stuff and had my lunch in peace.

After completing my meal I headed towards the grocery store to get some stuff. I grabbed a crate of beer cans and a lighter, paid for the stuff and headed towards my home. I got into the house, shut the door and went to my room. Placing the crate under the bed I took out a can to fill my need.Its been a long time since I haven't had the drink. 

I finished my drink and heard the bell ring. I threw the empty can in the dustbin and went down to open the door. Laura stood there giving her attention to the mobile, chewing a gum.She entered the house and went straight to her room remaining her attention in whatever she's doing on the phone.

I got to my room and felt extremely tired. I threw myself on the bed and covered myself with a blanket feeling the darkness take over me...
