Gasping for air I go and search spot too cool myself off. "Jennaaaa" I call to catch her attention. "Come here" I yell as Jenna rolls her eyes and starts to approach me. "I'm tired, we should go and walk to Martha's since it's only a mile away...you agree." I ask ."sure" Jenna replies as we begin to head there.
Almost half way there we decide to go through a secret way then just walking out in the open. The wind is blowing and the air is chilly as we enter Martha's neighborhood. Few steps away we spot Martha's house and run over there. Stoping at the door I knock hoping someone would answer because I forgot to notify Martha that we were coming. Couple seconds go by and no one has answered. I knock again and wait.... No one. " Damn it we walked all this way for nothing" Jenna says waving her hands in the air. "Call your parents to pick us up" I suggest. "No! My phone is dead and so is yours, so now we're stuck here until Martha comes back who ever knows how long that will be" she says in a angry tone. "Walk back?" I question. "No I didn't tell my parents we left. "Well great" I say as I start to get pissed off. Moment of silence hits us and the sky begins to turn gray. Shit I say under my breath. Water begins to fall out of the sky and lightning starts to struck. Huddling under Martha's entrance we try to keep are selves away from the rain and from the lightning. Thirty minutes go by and rain is falling harder than ever and the lightning becomes brighter and louder. After hours of being cold and wet Martha hasn't arrived and Jenna and my parents are probably freaking out cause they think we are "missing". Every minute the storm grows larger and stronger and wind increases tremendously. Scared as hell I begin to distract myself by trying to close my eyes and wait for the storm to pass until a booming loud siren interrupts me. "What the heck" I say opening my eyes. "That's the tornado siren! That means there is actually gonna be a tornado hitting us" Jenna screams. Oh no I say to my mind
