Chapter four

I was stunned. I couldn't even move.

" Hey!" I yelled at him.

He stood back and stared at me with a hurt look in his eyes that turned to anger.

" Why didn't you kiss me back?"

I just stood there like a deer in headlights.. I was so scared to say anything, I was afraid he might hurt me...

" I didn't mean to scare you Aubrey, you know I care about you right?

" How could you possibly care about me? " I replied.

" How couldn't I your perfect?"

" I umm.." I tried to answer him but I couldn't think of the right words to say.

" I'm getting tired I think I should get ready for bed." I said

" Okay beautiful, I'll see you soon." He said with a wink.

I shut the door as fast as possible and ran into the bathroom. I stared into the mirror trying to think what the hell just happened.. maybe I should take a shower maybe that will clear my brain I thought.

I went and grabbed some pajamas from my bag and hopped right into the shower. I grabbed a towel and stepped out of the shower. Then my phone buzzed and I reached over to grab it. The number was unknown. I slid my screen over and typed in my password and there was a text saying this :

" Dear Aubrey, I had such a lovely time with you today and I'm so happy that God introduced us, you are the light of my life. Xoxo Brenden. "
