Chapter 3

Jason's Pov

I arrive at the palace in half an hour. And im late for dinner. Crap. My sister is going to flip out on me again, i think to myself.

I hurry past the royal guards guarding the entrance to my palace. They bow right away and continue to guard the entrance. I speed my way through the hallways, heading for the Hall of Banquets. (Its where we eat our meals with the entire family)

10 minutes later i finally arrive at the hall. My sister Thalia is already by the door giving me the evil eyes.

'Sorry im late. I got held up with an Orc patrol in Hasi's territory' I say quickly before she starts her yelling.

She looks taken back. 'The Orcs are trying to get the Elves on their side?' She asks, with a puzzled look on her face.

I nod my head. 'Yes, they even threatened Hasi and I for telling them to get lost.' I said in an amused tone.

'This wont end well' she replies.

'Yea i know, but we are ready for anything.' I reply, my tone serious again.

We enter the Banquet Hall and are greeted by my brothers cousins and other family members.

*1 HOUR 30 MINUTES LATER*

'So I'm there pointing my sword at their throats and four of them wet their pants!!!' I say, recounting what happened earlier.

Everyone in the table bursts into fits of laughter. 'Man brother, i wish i was there to see that!' my brother Thorian says laughing.

'I think we all wish we were there' my cousin Molly replies.

'Yeah, i almost dropped my sword and threw myself in the floor laughing' I say smiling.

'So what has happened since i was gone?' I ask serious.

'Nott much has happened. You have recieved a letter from someone' My brother Malix replies.

'Ok, thank you. I will be taking my leave. If anyone needs me I will be in my Office' I declare as i get up and walk towards the door.

When i arrive in my office I find the letter on top of my big desk. I pick it up and look closely at the symbol on the back.

Oh not again I think to myself as I open the letter.
