Sorry I didn't update in a while. So I decided to make a good update for all of you guys!

Reagan's POV

Lunch rolled around, and I sat with Cameron and all his friends. It was really awkward. I didn't know anybody. I never talked to them. Heck, I bet they never knew I existed. I'm not that girl who is popular. They are.

As soon as I sat down, next to Cameron, all eyes were on me. Like seriously people, don't me rude, staring is impolite.

"Oh! Uh. Guys this Reagan. Reagan, this is Nash, Matthew, Taylor, and Jack." Cameron said, pointing to each one. (Just to let you know, Jack is Jack Gilinsky.)

"Hey." I said awkwardly, waving my hand, that was shaking. They probably knew I was nervous.

"Hey." Taylor said. He winked and a smirk was plastered on his face.
My eyes widened.

I nodded my head, so I was acknowledging him.

All of the others started talking so we had a full on conversation going on. They were all really funny, and seemed so nice.

Lunch ended and I had to go to my next class. Writing. I enjoy writing. I've always made little made up stories when I was younger. They weren't the best, but I've gotten better throughout the years.

When I walked into class, I noticed Margo and Chloe sitting in the middle of the classroom. I walked up to them and sat down.

"Hey!" I said, taking the empty desk next to Chloe.

"Hey." They said in unison, but didn't sound very happy.

"What's wrong? What's going on?"

"You know what. All we're trying to do is protect you, from Cameron. We don't want your heart to break." Margo said.

"Guys. It's okay. I can assure you of that. I will make sure my heart doesn't break."

"Ok. Whatever floats your boat." Chloe said. I mentally face palmed myself. They need to realize that I'm seventeen years old. I can take care of myself. That can warn me all they want. But that isn't going to stop me and Cameron's friendship. Like I said before, I don't imagine a person like me, dating a guy like him.

They final bell rang, signaling that school was over, and we were all allowed to go home. I had to walk home, because my mom had work all day and night today.

I gathered all the books from my locker, the ones that I had to do homework, and the ones I didn't, I put them in my locker.

I didn't have a lot tonight, which is kind of surprising. I had about three things to do. History, take an assessment that's in the book. Algebra, a page that was in the text book. And Science, I had to read a couple pages in the text book.

I walked out of the school, and started walking. I put my earbuds in, and turned on a song. Love Yourself by Justin Bieber came on. I really like that song! I was humming, but then I heard a car honk.

I took one of my earbuds out, and turned towards the street where the sound was coming from. It was a galaxy wrapped car, it looked really cool. The window started rolling down, and I noticed it was Taylor. Oh. Flirty guy.

"Hey Reagan. You need a ride?"

"No, but thanks. My house is a block away, literally I can see it from here." I responded, adding a little chuckle along with it.

"Haha. You're funny. I like funny girls." He said with a smirk.

That wasn't funny.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow, I guess." I said, starting to walk away.

I made it to my doorstep and reached down under a rock, to grab the spare key. It wasn't there. My dad probably took it, because he always loses the key he got. I guess I had to climb the tree.

I went toward the back of the house. I came across the tree, and attempted to climb it. I was doing pretty well. I was almost there, and was about to take the last step, on the branch. The branch was very very thin. It snapped right in half, causing my foot to slip.

I was hanging there, about to fall. I didn't know what I was going to do. Nobody's home.

Not at my house, at least.

But Cameron was.

"Cameron!!" I yelled, hopefully getting him to hear me. "Cameron, please help me!! It's SO important, life threatening, actually." I yelled once again.

His balcony door opened, and out came a running Cameron.

"Reagan what is- oh my god!! Hang on!" I don't know if I could do that. My fingers were slipping, and I weigh a little bit over one hundred pounds.

He climbed down his tree, literally in like two seconds. He steadied himself under me.

"It's okay Reagan. Just fall, I'll catch you, I promise. I won't let anything happen to you."

"Cameron. Are you sure?"

"Yes!" He yelled. "I promise."

I let go. And started falling. In no time, I was in Cameron's arms. I looked up at him, staring directly into those perfect brown eyes.

"You saved me Cameron! Thank you!" I cheered, as I was getting up. He got up too, and I hugged him. He immediately hugged back.

"I told you, I wouldn't let anything happen to you, never."

And I guess, I believed him.

There was no reason not to.
