It was a nice day in the city of Cork, Ireland, and for Gaia, it was the first day of 7th grade. She was excited for her new school, but also upset that she had to move schools. She wasn't sure how she was going to bring herself out to her new peers, but then just thought of how she wanted to let them know what kind of person she is. "Should I act bad- like bad as in popular-or nice like a doe?" She had thought. But after soon realizing that she was going to be late for school, she grabbed her new back-pack, her lunch box, then ran out of her bedroom door. "Gaia!! Come on we are going to be late for our first day!!" Yelled her step-dad Louise. He was going to be teaching at her school. It would be his second year of teaching high-school.

Gaia ran downstairs and exclaimed, "I am here!" "Shhh! There are other people sleeping currently!" Whispered Louise. They then left the house. "STOP THE CAR!!!" Gaia yelled. "Gaia Odesza Vaccarella! NEVER do that again! You could have caused me to crash the car!!" Her dad scolded. "Why did you make me stop the car?" He asked. "We forgot Marza!" As soon as Gaia had said those three words, Louise made an immediate face of disgust, obviously showing regret and embarrassment. He turned the car around and headed back to their house. They lived in the center of Cork, and oh was that city beautiful. The spring time was her favorite time of the year. That was when Cork had their annual festival. The festival was filled with colors and oh so much grace. They always did such a great job on decorations. The center of the city would be filled with colors, different types of flowers, little nick-knacks hanging on trees as well as pretty colorful lights. The men would enjoy their beer while the woman would be cooking Shepherd's Pie and other traditional Irish foods.

As Gaia and Marza arrived at school, excitement had entered into both of the girls. "Oh my god! I am so excited for this school year!!" Marza exclaimed while shaking Gaia back and forth. "Marza chill" "Sorry I just got a bit excited..hehe," Marza giggled. Gaia and Marza said their goodbyes and luck to them both and to their step-father. "Have a great first day of school!" Their father said, standing in the door-way of his new classroom. " Gaia was going through a roller coaster of emotions as she was waiting outside of the large cafeteria. The campus of the school looked fairly big and had a small forest separating it from another part of the school. As they finally let the students into the cafeteria, tons of kids with different colored shirts and looks flushed into the building. As Gaia was trying her best to not push people while also trying to keep her balance, she bumped into some one, causing him to drop his binder. "Oh my goodness, I am so sorry! Do you need help picking your stuff up?" Gaia said, sorrily. The boy she had bumped into had jet black hair, with a slightly tanned skin tone. He had wore black, bloxy glasses, with brown eyes. They both made some sort of connection for a split second, then the moment had stopped. "Uhhhh...No,no I am ok, thanks for asking though.." His voice trailed of. "May I as you of your name?" The boy had ased. "Oh um," Gaia had been staring deeply into his eyes without noticing. "Uh my name is Gaia- Gaia Vaccarella- my friends call me Odesza- Well that is if I had any friends..." Gaia trailed off. There was then an awkward silence for a couple of minutes, while kids behind them were yelling," Hey get out of the way!", and shoving past them. "Well my name is Koto. Koto James. You can call me Kody though." Koto had answered, then smiled a big and happy grin. 'Well we must be moving out of the way before any of the teachers come and yell at us" Koto insisted. Gaia and Koto move themselves out of the way of the door way. But some of Koto's friends had insisted he come and sit with them. "I am sorry, I should go and sit with them. It was nice meeting you though." Koto then breaks away form the crowd and goes and sits with his other friends. "Hm well that's a start," Gaia says to herself, still staring at Koto. Finally she snaps herself out of it and finds a table with no one sitting at it. Soon breakfast ends, and everyone scatters to advisory. When everyone was gathering around the classroom door, Gaia spotted Koto surrounded by a group of boys. Soon after spotting Koto, she notices something that looks like a wolf. She walks past Koto, which caught his attention. "Hey, are you in this class..uh..Gaia?" She turned towards him slowly still trying to keep an eye on the wolf-looking creature. "Uh, yeah, I think I am.." "What are you looking at?" Gaia turns her head all the way finally. "Oh nothing. Thought I saw something. That's all."
