[A/N] THIS STORY IS FAST FORWARDED TO THE YEAR 2014. Please do not judge this is my first ever story here on Wattpad. Thanks for reading, future readers!
Mondays. What did I ever do to deserve having to wake up so damn early in the morning for school? Do not get me wrong, I love school because I get to see my friends and I am a morning person so waking up usually isn't a burden to me. But today's different. Today seems so perfectly imperfect that I just want the week to be over already.
I refuse to stand up and I refuse to move away from the warmth my queen sized bed gives me. No. I just won't get up.
I was cuddling with a pillow when I suddenly remembered I had a big test coming up today.
GREAT
I rush to the bathroom to have my morning routines and such. I got dressed with my usuals: Jeans, a blouse and my combat boots that I love dearly. I grabbed an apple as I ran towards my car; ready to face a 10 minute drive to my school. Crossing my fingers for no traffic, I cranked up the radio and We Can't Stop blasted through the speakers. Lemme tell you one thing about me, this is my jam!
"La la dee da dee we like to party, dancing with Miley."
I was singing with full conviction when I heard my phone ring. I reached up in the passenger seat for my phone and answered it without even looking at the screen.
"Wazzup yo!" I said all hyped up.
"Where the hell are you?" I knew for a fact that it was Bella, my forever best friend, my long lost twin, my soul mate, my sister from another mister.
"I'm driving, take a chill pill."
"But there's something I need to tell you oh my God you just won't believe it. Drive faster, girlie!"
"I'm coming, I'm coming! See you in 2."
I wonder what she's so hyped up about. Now she got me excited. And this better be worth a speeding ticket if I ever get caught.
I'm fast approaching the school and saw some of my friends hanging out in the parking lot. I parked my car in the "Seniors" area. Yup, I am a senior. And in a month's time I will be up on a stage giving my speech as Student Council President at graduation. I got in Penn State and I'm nothing but excited. Bella also got in Penn State and we're both majoring in Psychology.
WAIT how rude of me, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Margarethe Cris Miller, eighteen years of age. Orlando born and raised. I live with my mom since my dad left us when I was 9. I still talk to him though and surprisingly my mom still does too. They stayed friends to be honest, and I'm more than happy that they are. I have an older brother, Max. He's 22 and goes to UCLA. I also have a younger sister, Aurora, who's 16.
I saw Bella running towards me. Clearly this news that she can't wait to tell me is something big!
"CRIS YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHO SAID YES TO PERFORM FOR PROM!"
"OMG WHO?"
"SOMEONE THAT RHYMES WITH BEFORE YOU EXIT"
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? NO WAY? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A REPLY FROM THEM FOR THE PAST MONTH. Aaah, our hard work finally paid off."
"Omg Cris, Jannor will finally come true!"
"And Marley's gonna happen too! I can't even right now, Bella."
You see, this is how Bella and I fangirl over Before You Exit. Yup, we have been Exiters ever since. I was school mates with Riley in middle school. I used to be so fat then I doubt he'll even recognize me when he sees me again. And by again, I mean in two-weeks time because of prom. I can't wait for his reaction.
